3/4 Inch 3:1 Marine Grade Adhesive Lined Heat Shrink Tubing Wire Wrap

Today’s purchases are four foot rolls of both black and red large heat shrink for electrical applications. They came sealed and packed together. I wanted red and black heat shrink for my car audio installations. This purchase allowed me to conveniently buy, not only both red and black together, but the rolls allow me to cut them as long or as short as I need at the moment. I used them to distinguish between the power and ground wires since the insulation is the same color. It also made the install much cleaner looking and protected the install from shorts. These sheat shrinks seem to have an additional adhesive on the inside, meaning once they are on, they are not coming off. This is really great for securely protecting your equipment, but not so great if you have to remove them. I recently started getting into using the heat shrinks, but now that I am, I want everything to have shrink on it. These tubes are super easy to use and work on a wide range of sizes, shrinking up to four times. The quality and results that you get from these are great, and they are very affordable, making them a very good deal. If you like using heat shrink, and you are looking to get some or replenish your stock, I would highly recommend these, because they are a great value.

I have used heat shrink tubing for a lot of applications in electronics. This time, however, I used the 3/4 inch heat shrink so I could use it for insulation grips on a number of older pliers in my tool box. I thought at first 3/4 inch may have been too large, but the 3:1 shrink ratio was perfect, and my hand tools look great after applying the stuff.

Pretty solid and durable, I would/will definitely purchase again. Acceptable price and value although I will update if it depreciates or degrades unreasonably. Fairly easy to work with, a heat gun is definitely recommended with a multi-temperature control, but a small adjustable hand torch using ambient heat, NOT direct flame, will also work. Careful overheating where cut or spliced, it will split/tear/rip up the side, vertically, up the length of the tubing, even if using a heat gun. Fairly flexible during application. Some corners are difficult to contour. After activated and shrunken to fitment, it will stiffen significantly, generally mold to the shape and/or angle. If reheated properly, it can be adjusted or reshaped depending on object and material being wrapped. The adhesive/glue is the interlining of entirety of the tube. There is not a separate layer under/after the glue, between the item wrapped; your item will be entrenched in adhesive/glue helpful for a good seal but can also damage your items sometimes it's better having that double layer an and adhesive filling where it just is pressed out the edges/ends of the tubing.

The product worked very well, I used it on some 3/4" rod and the 1 1/2" tubing came right down to seal it. Very heavy duty, will buy again if needed. The 1/2" worked just as well on some 1/4" rod I was covering.

I was a little skeptical about this over regular shrink tube, Now it's probably the only stuff I'll use. This is way way better than regular shrink tube. You can actually get a real waterproof connection without worrying. It even shrinks more..the 1/4" can shrink down to 5/64ths...that's kinda crazy. Not a bad price for the length of it you get really. It's easy to use with a heat gun or a blowtorch (just with a blowtorch you have to move faster). I used it for my trolling motor connections and general wire management. I will say it is stiffer than regular shrink tube but for what I needed it for it was perfect.

Exactly what I needed, has the adhesive in it so it's super durable. the red is red, not orange so color is spot on. super thick and flexible for it's thickness. and exactly what I need for heavy gauge wire. Compatible with pretty much anything. Super easy to use. use a heat gun and it shrinks and adheres perfectly. for the price I wish I got 10ft.

I bought this for a DIY bathroom vent project in our older apartment building. The existing vent is much smaller than modern standard sizes and relies on passive airflow across the roof, so it barely moves any air. We were getting cooking smells and other odors drifting in from neighboring apartments. Since the fan is installed in a humid bathroom, I used this adhesive lined heat shrink tubing on all of my wire connections. My wife takes lava hot showers, so I wanted the extra moisture protection. It's probably overkill, but the adhesive lining sealed everything up nicely, shrank evenly, and gave me complete peace of mind that humidity isn't going to cause electrical issues down the road. Great quality tubing that did exactly what I needed.
