It is a nicely made product and protects my dvd player/burner and can hold additional disk and cables as well. This is a really solid case.

I am using this case to store a Pioneer BDR-XD05B portable usb 3 Bluray burner, it is a bit over sized for this device but much nicer than what I was using before. The fold over flap to hold the drive in main compartment it very handy when quickly removing the device when needed. The extra space surrounding the device inside main pocket might come in handy to add addition lateral padding since I have a tendency to drop things on their edges. And the vendor was was the type to inquire on my satisfaction, something I really appreciate. An USB 3 cable and couple other small accessories fit nicely and securely in the front zipper pocket. It offers plenty of protection when inside of another container or compartment such as a gear case or brief case.

The item was as described on Amazon.com.It is a soft neoprene case with a zipper pocket for small items (e.g. cables, adapters, etc).The case isn’t too thick or too thin ... just right..The lip/lid does not close with a zipper, Velcro, etc. This is the only drawback, but I knew about this from posting comments.Nicely designed.An Apple SuperDrive fits in it just fine, with room to spare.

When my DVD drive started giving me trouble, I used this external drive to replace it. Works great.

Fits perfectly. If you carry your gear in a brief case you don't need a hard sided case for the DVD drive; just makes it difficult to fit in your luggage or computer bag. So, this soft sided case give you plenty of protection and ensures that it doesn't get scratched or damage your other equipment.Zippered pouch for cord and large flap on top makes taking the drive out of the bag a snap! Works for me.

I spilled bong water on this thing. It kept my $170 portable blue ray burner safe. All I had to do is dunk it in vinegar water for a few minutes and rinsed it in clear water and let it sit to dry overnight and it was back to the state of new condition. I love the water absorbency of this and easy to wash if it ever needs it, just don't ring the water out. it will wrinkle it.

I bought this for an external CD / DVD that I purchased to install software on a driveless laptop. It fits the drive with a bit of room to spare. It has a separate, zippered, area for your cables, memory cards, or whatever you want to put in it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is there is no closer on the main section - just a flap - no zipper, or Velcro, or anything. there is also no carrying handle on the bag at all. These would have been nice features that this bag is lacking. There is a card included saying if you register the product it will be covered by a three year warranty. I will keep it as it would cost as much to send it back as I paid for it. It is not a bad case. It should protect whatever is inside - which is the purpose.

The case is a bit larger than I wanted, so the my blu-ray drive does not fit as snuggly as the previous case I bought. It is well made and should last well

DVD disc drive not very secure - flap doesn't fasten & the drive is always about to fall out of a gaping mouth. I'm going to sew a large press stud on it and then it should be fine. The neoprene is good, as is the little compartment to keep a couple of cables. But keeping your device inside the case is a bit basic and it's annoying to have to finish the construction of what could have been a pretty good design. I'm sure there are better cases out there.
