AVerMediaBA311 Live Streamer Arm: Fully Adjustable Boom & Mic Stand, 1/4" or 5/8" Mount, Content Creation, Podcasting, Streaming

As one of, if not, the only arm on the market that I could find that could pivot on the arm to allow for more rotation I was attracted to this product. Build quality is so far great, the clamp for mounting is chunky and solid. The base pivot is spring loaded, however the one halfway up the arm is not, only friction. I suspect this is as the arm can swivel along 2 different axis here. As you can see from my picture, it looks great, yet my microphone is not attached. This is unfortunate for me, the listing here on this page (at the time of writing (7th March 2022) doesn't anywhere specify that the main thread is 5/8" with the internal being 1/4". My microphone, along with so many others using the more EU standard mic thread size of 3/8". I've had to purchase an adapter and am now having to wait for that to arrive before I can use this arm completely. I would have known to get an adapter with the arm, or looked for an alternate at the time of purchase had the full specifications been on the listing.Edit: It holds my mic well - an Aston Spirit with a shock mount and guard, although I also can't seem to locate the washer that was said to be included to go between the arm and the clamp, and so there's a little more play there than i'd like. The joints have to be tightened very far with the hex key to not sag with my mic
