Very effective in softening clothes/towels
Like the natural formula. Scent is good, not overpowering. We have allergies and asthma in our house, this fabric softener doesn’t aggravate or cause symptoms.

If you want a cruelty free label, beware of buying Seventh Generation products!
I have been purchasing Seventh Generation products for a while now, I would say something like 90% of our household cleaning products and baby care items such as diapers and wipes. We pay more for Seventh Generation compared to other popular brands like Huggies because I thought they have more ethical and environmentally friendly practices. I learned recently that their stance on animal testing is not so cruelty free as they claim.Seventh Generation says that it doesn’t support animal testing—and that it is a “cruelty-free” company and Leaping Bunny certified. That’s great! But you already knew that it doesn’t test its own products on animals. In contrast to its statement against animal testing, Seventh Generation’s lobbying activities, if successful, will lead to a huge increase in animal testing.Seventh Generation says that it is simply “fighting toxins” and that chemicals should be better tested for safety. We couldn’t agree more—chemical tests and regulations need to be improved to protect human health and the environment, including wildlife. But for the last five years, Seventh Generation has conducted large grassroots campaigns to advocate for legislation that—if successful—would require companies to test thousands of chemicals and products. Since regulators currently require animal testing, these chemicals would be tested on animals.Seventh Generation supports legislation that will require years of animal testing—and asking its customers to do the same:S. 2040 Kid-Safe Chemicals Act of 2008S. 3209 Safe Chemicals Act of 2010S. 847 Safe Chemicals Act of 2011S. 696 Safe Chemicals Act of 2013A senior advisor to the Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families coalition, a partner of Seventh Generation’s, testified before Congress earlier this year saying, “Arguably, the correct policy response would be to require chemical manufacturers to provide minimum data sets for all chemicals, sufficient at least for screening level assessments of hazard, exposure and risk.”Requiring “minimum data sets for all chemicals” means that there will be a checklist of animal tests required to be conducted for all chemicals, regardless of expected use, potential exposure, or production volume. In order to reduce the vast number of animals killed in tests and improve the identification and regulation of harmful chemicals, it is absolutely crucial that Congress avoid such a “one-size-fits-all” testing scheme.Scientists have analyzed the Safe Chemicals Acts of 2008, 2010, and 2011 – all bills Seventh Generation supported – and found that tens of millions of animals would have been killed had they been enacted. Fortunately, there were some key changes that could reduce animal testing and animal rights groups have been lobbying Congress to make those changes. Ultimately, we need the legislation to require companies to use nonanimal methods preferentially, and Seventh Generation has declined to support such a provision. This is not what I paid for when I purchase Seventh Generation products. When asked on the topic, they responded with a wishy washy statement without answering the important question on why they insists on pushing for legislations that would require large scale animal testing. I think many of us purchase their products believing that it is better for the world, please let Seventh Generation know that this is not okay. For me, I am not buying their products until I have a definite answer that they stop lobbying for more animal testing.

My laundry is transformed
The softener has such a pleasant smell and sticks around for a couple of weeks after the wash. Everything comes out soft and it seems like my dryer has an easier time de-wrinkling my clothes because everything always comes out much smoother now.

Unique scent
This stuff smells really good, and it doesn’t take much to do the job. I have sensitive skin, and have had no issues using this product.

Disappointed in this product
The smell is very pleasant, lavender is one of my faves. Unfortunately, it does not last at all. Clothes smell something like labender after being washed, but I cannot smell it AT ALL after the drier cycle. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it. Very disappointed.. I don't get why add scent in their product at all if you cannot smell it. I hate when comapnies do this and sell nothing for something. Plus - my baby developed a rash after wearing clothes that ware washed in it.

Very nice product.
What I dislike is how long it's taking to restock this.It doesn't bother my skin and is very lightly scented with Lavender NOT anything perfumey.Of course these things are different for different ppl, but I really like it.

I use it for my car
I use this mixed with water to spray on the car carpet before brushing up and out all of my husky's fur. I've never used it in the actual laundry before so I can't say how it works for that. However, to soften and take out the threaded fur out of my car carpet, it works great.

A great natural choice in softeners
This product is very pleasant and does a good job but is VERY DIFFICULT to find in stores. I keep it in my subscription orders so that I never run out.
