Poor craftsmanship and stitching, barely any padding, does not look like picture.
I ordered a size small, but I didn't expect it to be really small. If you look at the pictures I posted, you can see that its barely wide as my finger (which is about 1/2 inch). Even worse, there is barely even any of the neoprene padding as compared to the company's pictures and the actual product (as seen in my pictures), and again, looking at the pictures you can see that the stitching is VERY poorly done. Some other negatives is that the buckle mechanism is very difficult to use (I honestly thought I was dumb or they gave me a buckle that wasn't assembled properly). I eventually figured it out but it is waaay to tedious and difficult to take off/put on the collar. And lastly, the logo is pretty obnoxious to have on the front. For the money, this collar is definitely not worth the price.

EXCELLENT in EVERY way!
SO glad I read reviews and listened to the majority, rather than the "nay-sayers". This is hand down THE BEST COLLAR FOR A STRONG DOG. ESPECIALLY pit bulls! The ONLY other option for this dog was a piece of CHAIN held with a carabiner clip. The owner has 4 kids on a lower income salary and can only afford collars that just don't hold up, so had to resort to the chain. This dog is super sweet and they DO love her, so I researched extensively and kept my fingers crossed when I put it on her. WOW! 4 weeks in and she has NOT broken it and it appears to be holding up well. BIG plus is she doesn't have that heavy metal which retains even more heat that is compounded by Arizona summers. A million thanks to Black Rhino for going the extra mile to help dogs like her have a more comfortable, yet strong collar. May you reap a thousand blessings for your stewardship of our family pets.

Comfort and Durability in one- at an affordable price no less!
Phat Pawz (90 lb labradane) and I love this collar!!He has broken an average of one collar a month by bolting after other dogs while on a walk. The ring that clips the leash on is the first part to break usually but he has managed to break many collars in many original places. This collar is the most well put together collar I have seen thus far- and I have had dogs for decades- probably purchased upwards of a hundred dollars in my career as DogMom.Not only is this collar extremely sturdy- but it is padded for the comfort of the dog. That makes me happy. If your dog bolts on walks and breaks collars and gets away (potentially running in front of cars or getting into fights or a myriad of other loose-dog hazards)- get this collar. On top of the fact that this collar is so strong and comfortable is the price! A pet store collar like this one would cost at least double.I am an extremely satisfied customer with the Black Rhino collar.

The buckle is not smooth on the underside
I really wanted to like this collar... but itโs going back. The odd shape - on the underside of the buckle - is beginning to rub a raw spot on my dogs neck. This is within 2 weeks of first use. Itโs as loose as possible, not too tight. May be great for dogs with thick coats, but not for mine.

Singing praises!!!!
Here's the deal... My dog is quite the Houdini. He has gotten out of every possible collar we have bought. Not sure how, he won't tell us his secret, but he does. Well he DID until we bought your collar. I am very impressed with the design, and I'm happy that it's a buckle and not a quick release. He is a SiberianHusky/lab mix and let me tell ya, this dog is strong. Close to Hulk Strong. However strong that is, but you get my point. I am singing hallelujah right now!! Thank you for your awesome collar!!! I am a fan for life!!!

Inconsistent
We have a husky and a pittbull. Our two dogs love to play but our Pitt kept eating our Huskies collar, after spending at least $200 on collars...I mean we tried everything. Metal, leather, military types. Everything was either chewed up within hours or turned our huskies fur a greenish color. Finally we bought one of these and to this day it is completely in tack. Thank you so much to the makers of this collar!!Update: 11/12/2019 Since writing this review I have purchased 2 more collars from this seller. Both only lasting 2-4 days until they completely fall apart. I am requesting a quality replacement from the seller right now considering how happy we were with the first one, which lasted a year, you can imagine my disappointment. I will update my review when the seller makes this right.

I would recommend these collars with a few comments
I would recommend these collars with a few comments. I have a pit bull/lab/GSD/beagle mutt and a pit bull, each about 60 pounds of muscle. These are strong, padded, buckle collars that will stand up to big dogs. My dogs are between the medium and large sizes. The large leaves significant slack and the medium is uncomfortably tight when trying to remove the collar. I would gladly buy custom sized collars for dogs that are done growing. Also, grommets on each of them have fallen off - 1 within the first week of receiving the collar. The material does not seem to fray.

Strong sturdy collar in a beautiful color
This collar is exactly what we needed for our medium-sized Weimaraner/lab mix. He is practically a contortionist as well as a Houdini and we often came home to find him without a collar on. That was no good because all indentification as well as his microchip info and vaccination tags were attached to his collar so, if he got out, nobody would be able to get him back to us.This collar is strong and sturdy in materials used and construction. I am especially impressed with the buckle used- he has not been able to get free and Iโve yet to come home and find him collarless! The color is perfect as it is the exact color my daughter picked out to be โZeusโs color,โ aqua.

Brilliant collar
I have spent so much on collars over the last 4 years of owning my labrador getting a large strong comfortable collar for a large dog hasn't been easy but I think I found the perfect collar for my boy it's soft comfortable strong it has a buckle fastening which is so much better than a plastic push together clip which can undo under certain circumstances. It looks great too so many colours to choose from it took a while to get here so I think it probably came from USA I would definitely purchase this collar again and do recommend I got the the largest size for my labrador but he does have a large thick neck

Great collar
Bought this for my dog after she ate her last collar, my fault I took it off and left it unsupervised on top of her crate, this new collar has better padding with the neoprene where the collar would normally dig in as she pulls me down the road, she's a puppy she gets really excited at anything. The only down side I have found is that when not on a lead it tends to twist round so her name tag is sticking up in the air bopping her in the head as she runs around and plays. She doesn't seem to mind though it's just not as visually pleasing for me, I have OCD. It's sturdy the buckle is well attached and strong. And the extra length of the strap is easily and nicely tucked up.

Bought for my 6 month old Labrador
Bought this for my 6 month old Labrador.. Its appears to be a comfy collar (not tried it personally ๐๐) the padding is a great thing for a dog that pulls its a lot safer and he's not choking, he does have a harness for walks but sometimes I need to grab his collar when over exited dogs come over to Charlie and c g arlie getting exited on his lead not a good match.Yes I would recommend this. Charlie is 6 months and it's on the first (tightest) so will last him well into his adult life. Yes I recommend

Easily the best collar we've ever bought
Easily the best collar we've bought for our black lab. Really well made with strong webbing, buckle, reinforced holes and well placed loops to hold the extra length past the buckle, with strongly inserted metal loop for lead attachment, and a small one opposite for ID tag. Has padded interior for comfort and wide for security and safety if your dog has tendency to pull. Have had issues with leather collars stretching in the past but this would not be an issue here. Importantly the dog is happy to wear this with no discomfort and it looks good with the flash of padding colour showing around the edges. Would certainly recommend this. Its well made so can see it lasting for years but will certainly get another when the time comes for a replacement.

Comfortable, and fits well
Old collar was rubbing on my German Shepherd's neck - this one doesn't. Fits well, and is solid. My GSD can pull hard at times - not a problem with this collar.Only reason for marking Durability as 4* rather than 5* is that the metal rim around the hole the buckle prong fits into distorted slightly after a while - only a minor issue though. The collar is well constructed, easy to put on, and comfortable. Happy to recommend this item.
