If you have a Canon SX730 or similar dimensions then this is the one to get. A camera is meant for portability but for $350+ you need protection too. This is the best of both worlds. It also allows a spare memory card and a strong clip/ carabiner for attachment to a belt loop or backpack etc. It’s easy to get the camera out of the case but still secure enough, even if you only half close the case. This is a very high-quality camera case for a small camera that looks and feels great, too! Note that this case really is for a small camera. I tried putting a Sony RX100 in it, and although I could get it to close, it was too tight for my comfort, and so did not repeat for that camera. I also tried the Canon Powershot G7 X, and it fit a bit better, but only on one orientation (i.e., you can't just randomly insert on short end or the other: insertion from one site worked better than the other. So, if you have a small camera, this is a great case. It looks good (kind of like a textured black finish that is semi-glossy), has good quality (the zipper feels quite nice), and it is light. But you have to ensure your camera is small enough to comfortably fit into the case. You don't want a camera "jammed" into a case, because that doesn't really provide a whole lot of protection. My recommendation would be to check the dimensions of the Canon G7 X, and then compare to the dimensions of your own camera; if yours is slightly smaller, this case should be perfect. To be honest, the case is so nice, that I was sad not to be able to use it for my Sony RX-100. Five stars for the case itself, but watch those dimensions.

I purchased this to replace a similar case I'd had for about ten years - it had gotten pretty banged up on hikes, etc. In the mean time, I tried another "bargain" case from another online site, which was a disaster. This one it tough and durable. I expect it will last a long time. the mesh inside holds my extra battery snuggly and allows for an additional flash card if needed. Good zipper. I only gave it four stars because the elastic fabric that holds the two sides together occasional gets in the way of the zipper and must be moved in order to close it. A minor issue, but I would still buy it again. Recommended.

This case is a good case. It protects my camera from accidental impacts and drops. It fits my point and shoot Canon snug and it has a pretty good padding surrounding the case. The spring loaded Enclosed hook seems sturdy enough to hold your camera secure to a belt loop, or carrying bag. Inside has a webbed compartment to hold flat objects such as an extra battery, SD card, lanyard or credit cards and cash. The compartment is really tight once you insert your camera and won't hold a lot, maybe one to the items I mentioned above. Overall it's a great secure case and will keep your camera safe just don't expect to hold to many accessories in it.

The only negative thing I might say about this case is that the pocket that could hold a spare battery is on the inside...I would prefer it was on the outside...otherwise, the case fits the camera nicely...seems very protective....but the zippers are a little stiff.

Bought for Canon SX730 HSSlim-style case, not bulky. Exactly what i need to fit in my bag.It has a little pouch in the inside of it. Haven't found a reason to use it, but you can store memory card.

A good reliable small case that should be durable for several years. Although it's a hard case the material is polycarbonate & not plastic. Only thing missing is a carry strap. Otherwise, it meets all my expectations & fits my Canon SX-710 model perfectly!

I needed a hard case I could use when I go kayaking on rivers and lakes. Please keep in mind this is not waterproof. I keep my case and camera in a dry bag. The camera fits nicely in the case.

Sturdy and good quality for the price
