Kittrich BSJ-45106-12BJ Stretchable Book Covers, 6 Pack, Assorted Prints

Like some of the other reviews, we didn't get all six covers, only receiving 5 out of the 6. It appears to be a distribution problem as the order says 1 unit but the description says it is a 6 pack. Most likely whoever is packaging the covers only reads the 1 unit and is sending 1 cover. In our case, they grabbed the 6 pack but it had been already ripped open and had one removed. These are sold by Amazon directly so you can't contact a seller, just Amazon. After navigating the "contact us" maze I asked them to call, which they did within 10 seconds. As we reviewed the order, the representative was a little edgy at first saying that the order is for 1 unit, several times. I calmly said, let's look through the order together at which she became much more friendly, then found that indeed the order was for 6 covers. A few clicks and I was refunded for the missing one. A new order could have been placed but the back order wait was a little too long. Somewhat time consuming but, by our at least getting the 5 pack, it sounds like the issues is closer to being solved.OVERALL, the book covers themselves are very nice and Amazon came through.

I received a pack of 6 all the same pattern (not different patterns as advertised). The advertisement is very misleading with an image of 6 different patterns. The advertising states, "Actual prints shipped may vary as they are updated frequently to match trends". I may have been okay with an assortment of different patterns as shown, but I'm very disappointed that I received all of the same pattern!The sealed package I received says "Sold As A Set" & "Do Not Break Open"... this makes me think that there was never an intention to sale as an assortment - they were prepackaged in bulk like pictured. I received a hot pink leopard pattern, just wish that there were various patterns. I was expecting an assortment as the image seems to portray. It doesn't say that you will receive an assortment, but the image implies it.The reason I ordered this product was to get different patterns for different books. It defeats the purpose of ordering these if they are all the same exact pattern! Blah, glad I still have time to get it fixed or returned before school begins... just a huge hassle having to fix and/or return.Buyer beware when ordering, you may get 6 of the same pattern & they will not likely be the patterns shown in the advertisement!

I can't attest to the quality of the book covers yet since we just received them, but like other purchasers have mentioned - stay away if color is important to you! We went with the multi-colored pack (the photo shows all of them with variants of pinks, etc., essentially for girls) we received 4 girlish colors and 2 black ridden, masculine colors, one of which had SKULLS on it - I'm not even sure that is appropriate for school.So out of the six pack only 4 are usable. It's a shame they can't stick to all feminine colors or all masculine colors. Mixing the book covers this way just takes away the value that people are buying this particular set for. This wasn't such a deal after all, being my daughter can only use 4. I must say I am slightly annoyed. I definitely wouldn't purchase again, and I'm sorry I didn't rely on the other reviewers in the first place.

Our "assortment" was only two patterns, so three of each. Not a big deal, but we were hoping for more variety. The bigger problem is they say Jumbo, but we put this on our student dictionary and I am not sure we will ever be able to get it off again, and it was very difficult to put on. Now the cover of the book kind of springs open because of the constant tension. We wanted this style book cover because we wanted an easier job than cutting and taping paper on school books, but this was not easy. I wouldn't buy these again, unless I wanted to cover novels rather than school books.

Great product overall and this size was perfect for elementary textbooks. It did come as a 6 pack, but all of the same print!! No assortment at all! This made it difficult to determine which textbook was which once the book covers were placed over them. Luckily, we needed it for a girl and the covers were girl colors. Wouldn't suggest ordering this product due to this problem because you truly won't know what you are getting until it arrives.

I know that the description says “assorted” but some of the designed we received were more of boy prints with skulls on it & nothing like the ones shown in the photos. So, now we have a few book covers that not one of my 3 girls wants to use for school.

Bought these for my 2 girls for school. Received 2 boy patterns, 1 of which isn’t really appropriate for school. Very annoying to not receive all girl prints like shown in the picture. Now I need to purchase more because I don’t have enough 🙄

These fit well, were easy to put on, and looked nice. The problem my daughter had was that they were stretchy, and I mean STRETCHY! You go to grab the book and the cover would slide. So if, for example, you drop a book it's really hard to grab and keep a hold of it. She got so frustrated after fighting to get books out of her locker, that we ended up just using brown paper grocery bags.
