Can i use a d-link ac2600 to replace a tp link tl-wr710n?

Hi There, this is not a pocket router, it is a full site router so not quite as portable! We have a newer set of routers - and the Dir 2660 is a newer model than this.

Can i stop devices connecting to this so they connect to main router. When my tablet is connected it eats the battery

No it doesn't. The AC2600 router doors have USB and DLNA/server but not the AC1900 (dir-878) version.

Is the dir-882 model here same as the d-link dir‑2660 minus the built in antivirus? seems very similar
