Johnson & Johnson Elastikon Elastic Tape, 2" x 2.5 Yards, (2" x 5 Yards Stretched), Reliable Compression for Support of Sprains, Strains, and Muscle Injuries, Case of 6 Rolls

I use this on my pets. It's the ultimate in sticky durable tape. It has some nice flex in it to allow for shaping around whatever needs taping/wrapping. Much better than plain stiff cloth tape. The stickiness is extreme. I have to use odorless mineral spirits or a product like Detachol to remove any tape that gets on the fur/skin. Peels off effortlessly with the use of odorless mineral spirits. If you need something strong, flexible that will stay in place, Elastikon is the only choice. There is simply nothing like this at the local CVS.

I have been using this tape for a few years, and I am very pleased by the quality, adhesion, and versatility! I use this First Aid Elastic Tape with rolled gauze to cut/ make my own customized bandages of all sizes. This tape works so much better than the average band-aid style bandage because a little water doesn't make it come off. Great Elastic Tape that has a secure hold! I absolutely love it!

Product arrived on time and well packaged. Product was as described. We were turned on to this product by our veterinarian after one of our greyhounds slid under a fence line chasing a rabbit. This product was used to hold the bandages on her legs in place above and beyond the damaged areas. It works great. It WILL stick to hair and it will iritate the skin if used for more than 30 days a was the case with her injuries, but it also did the job it was supposed to do.

I'm a competitive Olympic weightlifter and coach of other OLY lifters, and this tape is key when competing. People who are using white hockey tape are really throwing their money away. When I used to compete Nationally, before Amazon was so popular, this tape was very difficult to find - we used to have to buy it through people who worked in the medical supply field. Very sticky yet stretchy, this tape is great for wrapping joints that need support, but still have to move. Sticks to skin even better than to itself, but still does stick to itself very well. It is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. WAY BETTER than Cramer tape or Mueller tape if you need it to STICK to skin.

The product received was not Johnson & Johnson brand as advertised which is disappointing. The product works fine and is used as tape for horse bandaging, so far used on the legs. It does not have the same staying power and stickiness as the original J&J tape but stays fine for several days. They just don't make products like they used to seems to be the normal now. I would buy it again as it seems to work for the intended purpose and is a good price/roll. Just know it is not J&J you'll receive.

Our horse vet used this tape on our horse when she injured her leg but, I keep it in the house for use whenever we need to bandage any injuries on ourselves or our dogs because the adhesion is so much better than standard medical tape. The difference between this products adhesion and standard medical tape is like comparing scotch tape to duct tape. The horse and the dogs have chewed on this tape but unable to remove it or disturb the bandages under it keeping the wounds clean and protected.

This along with surgical tape is the absolute best way to prevent blisters or treat the ones that appeared where I didn't apply prevention measures. My feet are very "tender". I had the fewest blisters after a 60+ mile Philmont Scout Ranch trek. I found out about this from a Wilderness First Aid course. I am now an instructor and I can't praise this product enough to my students if they are interested in proper foot care. It is a rubber material so you want to make sure you are not allergic to rubber before using.
