Minotaure was a Wonderful masculine scent in it’s day and I really loved it. I’ve ordered various bottles since it’s discontinuation and will say these things: a) the scent has been widely copied and the imitation are a poor substitute, and b) original bottles, having a shelf life like all scents, are an acrid alcohol smell, unwearable . . . sadly, I can not recommend ever buying this Beautiful Aroma again unless production is resumed. It was an Olfactory Crime when this was stopped . . . :(

Is Paloma Picasso minotaure original? The bottle might be, but the perfum (liquid formula in the bottle) original from france?

I once bought this original formula in Cancun in the late 90's when it was banned in the USA and this defiantly is the same fragrance, doesn't last as long however, weaker formula, but same scent.

Regarding the answer above by Chris Hanlon, how was this cologne ever "banned" in the US? I never heard of that, if that was the case it'd still be illegal to sell it. As far as I know the product was discontinued by Paloma Picasso long ago and what's being sold are the last supplies of it. I've noticed the fragrance is not as potent as I remember it from the '90s (these bottles seem to have been around for a while) but for my money it's still the best "day cologne" out there.

Is product by original manufacturer cosmair (used actual sandalwood, doesn't degrade) or the reissue by luxury products llc? big dif!!

The last order I had (38k71M on bottle) is not as good or lasting as the original purchases but do not know which product I have now. I assume by your question I have the reissue. I will reorder when the original is back..!
