The EGO 4AH battery has been a game-changer for me in the world of outdoor power tools, and here's why. I've always been skeptical about third-party batteries, so having an authentic EGO battery option is a game-changer. The peace of mind that comes with using the genuine product is invaluable. It's been a reliable powerhouse, providing ample power for all my EGO tools, from the weed whacker to the leaf blower. The 4AH capacity ensures extended runtime, allowing me to tackle larger projects without interruptions on my 1/2 acre property. If you're like me and prefer to stick with authentic, reliable power sources, the EGO 4AH battery is an absolute must-have.

I have had this battery for a few months now. The battery life is good for the ego trimmer and blower. I have the standard charger and it takes about an hour to charge. Run times vary between equipment. Batteries in general are expensive - watch for them to go on sale!

A perfect fit. More power time than the origin battery.

The batteries work great while new but the degradation seems to be fairly high in year 2 and 3 before stabilizing. Some of this may be down to using the batteries a lot as the growing season is nearly 12 months where I live. I wish EGO would find a way to drop the price of the batteries as they are currently still too expensive; especially when you look at how many standard cylindrical cells are inside of the casing.

Good power but heavy.

If you have/use Ego electric products, this larger power cell is a must! I have the blower and love to blow off my front and back yards. This larger battery allows me to blow off both with battery life still left over. I really blow off both yards, spending a lot of time on the edging, front porch, garage, walkways, and even the street/curbs. The cost is a bit high, but given how much I use it found it to be worth it. I also upgraded to a better/quicker charger.

These batteries are absolutely useless on my snow blower! I really regret buying the entire system, it's NOT worth the cost. I bought two of ego power+ 56v 4ah batteries about a year ago along with ego 24in 2-stage snow blower and dual charger. When my old gas powered snow blower started to crap out on me, I'd figure i would invest in something eco friendly. Unfortunately I didn't find out how bad these batteries are until I started to use them this winter. Well long story short, it takes over an hour to charge but only last 15 minutes, and with lowest power settings. If I try to use turbo setting, it would get over heated and shut down immediately. Normally taking 2-3 hours to clear my sidewalk and driveways now take 3 days! Worst part is when I called for help, they just told me "too bad, you bought the wrong batteries".

Longer lasting battery due to size. Heavier to carry. Good price.

I've had this battery for just over a year now. and it is showing heavy signs of reduced capacity, likely get one more season out of it and it will be dead. Pretty pricey for this low of a quality, will not be buying any of their products again.
