Outstanding filter for the price
I waited until I was able to get a couple days and different situations use out of this before reviewing. Have to say it's really good optically. Sharpness is still there and I'm impressed. It has very very little color cast if at all, which obviously can be fixed in post-processing if you're shooting raw. I get no vignette at all, though I haven't gone as wide with it as others. The threads on it are good. It goes on easily and just feels like it's quality made. I have it paired with an ICE Step-Up ring bought here and they both are very good for the price. 10 stops of exposure correction is accurate as well.As a side note I have seen people state here and elsewhere there is a strong purple color cast when used with this or other filters. This can happen with any filter or lens and it's an easy fix, just cover your viewfinder. You can use just about anything to do it, just as long as light isn't beaming in. Some camera straps have a little rubber cover to put over it, but I've even used a black microfiber towel to block out the light coming in. Happy shooting!

No color cast, definitely 10x
Used this for the first time with some fog on a river. It worked really well with no color cast visible in my shots (maybe a little orange, but again, it was the morning, as the sun was rising).Of course, being a 10x filter, focusing and framing has to happen with the filter off, then you put the filter on and hope you didn't bump anything. That is a pain in the butt, but it is what it is.Update:I have been shooting with this quite a bit lately. I still don't like the screwing on/off, but found somewhat of a workaround: live view. If you shoot in live view with exposure simulation turned on, you can crank up the EV and see your scene. You can even focus pretty well with this.I must remind folks to turn off image stabilization on their lens when using this. I forgot a few times, and my focused area was blurry.Looking at my most recent photos, I don' t see any color cast at all. That orange that I mentioned was just from too much early sun hitting parts of the scene. I have included a few photos I have taken with this filter on a Canon 24-105 lens over the past few weeks.

A quality budget filter!!
I've had this filter for over a year now, got it to use on my Sigma 10-20mm lens. I was skeptical of cheaper filters having owned some of the plastic ND filters that are like $15. However, I was extremely happy with the quality of this upon first testing it out. ( Side note, the first one that was shipped to me was actually cracked in half when I got it, but that was more than likely the carrier's fault. But I got a new sent straight to me no problems.) Moving on, this filter definitely isn't plastic, it is quality glass or glass-like material. It works phenomenally for the price. It may change the tint of the photo some but definitely not as bad as the plastic ones. And I do believe it may degrade the quality some, but nothing extremely noticeable until you get close up on the photo and definitely not enough to pass up this filter. This filter will change the photos you get, you can take long exposures anytime during the day, the possibilities are endless. Overall this a quality budget filter if you're not looking to spends hundreds.

Excellent quality for an affordable ND filter
The quality of the filter, visual and functional wise, agrees with what I read from others' comments. Visually, the thin metal ring and glass show fine craftsmanship. No noticeable vignette, dim at corners, down to 24mm at 4.0 aperture for full frame camera (or 16mm for crop sensor camera) over full range of exposure time. The only issue is it adds some degree of red tune, especially at long exposure time (>15s), due to the diffraction nature of glass filters, i.e., it cuts more blue spectrum than red. Sometimes the red tune doesn't look natural, and must be adjusted using color temperature. The filter works for most situations. I love it for the high quality photos delivered at an affordable price. It may not be the right type for a professional photographer aiming at the highest quality at all times.A tip for those who have difficulty handling the thin rim especially when lens hood is hindering: put the lens cap on to gain access the threads. Just make sure the threads are fully engaged to avoid the filter fall out.

BUY BUY BUY
This filter is the way to go. I’ve just done some tests out my office window after delivery and at 3:30pm on a clear blue sky day f22 was at 1min35sec exposure iso100. Fantastic! F1.4 was at 1/3rd of a second again at iso100. Only viewed on my phone so far but very happy. Will edit review to add pics later if possible. Filter arrived in a small package within a padded envelope and was undamaged. No noticeable vignetting but more importantly to me no random pattern burn-ins! A big value compared to the square filters.

The best ND for the price, and more
If you're reading this you're probably wondering how this ND stands up to the more expensive brands like Lee, B+W, Hi-Tech etc.The answer is very well. The reality is that all ND's have a color cast. No matter what the manufacturer says. The real concern is the level, and ability to correct. As long as its relatively controlled, its an easy 1 slider adjustment in Lightroom. These definitely pass the test. This ND generates a slight blueish tint thats trivial to correct in post, comparable to the B+W, Lee. The Lee Big stopper does have slightly less tinting to my eye, but its a $150 filter so I would expect that.Overall this is an outstanding filter whose performance is bellied by its very economical price. Even if you plan on getting a Lee or B+W, do yourself a favor and get one of these. You won't regret it!P.S. i thought about subtracting a star for the comic sans font but decided it against it. ICE, please consider another font :)

Does the job
Does what it is supposed to.Fiddly to screw in but I knew this when I bought it.If you do not want to carry adaptors for square filters then this is the kit.

Excellent 10 stop nd filter
Excellent 10 stop nd filter. Very negligible red cast . Any nd filter of this category give either blue or red/magenta cast. I recommend it .Instead of spending more money on branded cos.it is well given try. Considerable thin frame.to avoid vignetting..

Costly but worthy
I think price is little bit in higher side, but the result was satisfactory.

Ice 77mm Ice ND1000 Solid Neutral Density
On time, seems a decent product so far (several uses), good colour and sharpness, could be not quite 10 stops? More testing perhaps.
