Works really really well. Most important thing here is that it does not cause microscratches. It eases the cleaning and removal of bugs. I use this to remove bugs / dirt on my windshield, front bumper / headlights / hood and two toned silver rims. Note that I pair this with rinseless wash cleaning solution such as Hero and ONR.

Was a lot thinner than I was expecting, does not swell up when soaked in water. But it was not advertised as a sponge.

I've been detailing cars for the last 10 years and finally found these this year. Game changer. Prior to these I would use bug remover chemicals and it was still a pain. With these pads, I spray the bug splatter with rinseless wash, let it soak, power wash then use a small dedicated bucket with just Auto shampoo and go to town with these pads, using a back and forth motion. Does a great job removing debris and bugs. I haven't noticed any significant clear coat swirls from using these, and they also work great on a glass and even plastic trim pieces.
