Lactic Acid 5% + Hyaluronic Acid 2%, Gentle Exfoliating Serum for Smoother Skin

i’m actually using this twice a week on my body to fade some scars. it’s a great intensive treatment for this, but it isn’t irritating at all. despite coming in a tiny bottle (because it’s meant to be used on the face), it has lasted me almost 4 months! and the price, it goes without saying, is AMAZING. an awesome value!

I’ve been using The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA a few nights a week, and it’s made such a difference in my skin’s texture. It gives a light tingle at first but nothing harsh. After a couple nights, my skin looked smoother and more even, especially around dry or dull spots. I love that it’s budget-friendly yet performs like high-end exfoliants. I always follow with moisturizer and SPF the next morning — and my skin has a soft, healthy glow I didn’t have before. 🌸 Honest note: This is a mild AHA, so if you’re new to acids, this is a great starting point.

I started using this product looking for a gentle exfoliator, and I really like it. It’s mild on the skin, didn’t cause irritation, and leaves my skin feeling smoother after just a few uses. I like that it doesn’t dry out my skin, and the next day my face looks brighter and more even. I’ve been using it at night and noticed an overall improvement in texture. Great option if you’re new to acids and want something not too strong. I have sensitive skin and this worked well for me. I would repurchase.

I’ve had the product for about two months now I can’t say what has changed because I don’t see much of change in regards to dark spots and etc. The hydration of the product is not very hydrating, I don’t think it is alone by any means a primary source of hydration. It also has a nice little stick to it after it dries. I should add which very important. It didn’t break my skin out which makes this superb. My skin is sensitive I know this because I’ve tried other serums that have broken my skin out in ways I’ve never seen before as well as sunscreens. I’ll continue to use it, and edit if any changes

I am new to using this product.. but so far I love it! Leaves skin nice and smooth. It didn’t dry out my skin too much. So far I have only used 3 times… once every few days at night. Leave on overnight. I will be purchasing more in the future. Great price!

This stuff has made a difference in the feel (texture) & appearance (more even tone, lighter dark spots) of my face. I have to say I'm a bit surprised because the first time I used it I thought "Wow this stuff is just like water!" It is the consistency of water, not like most serums and it doesn't have much of a smell plus there is no tingling or burning of any kind. So it actually does feel like you're putting water on your face. I evenade a point to save the box because I thought for sure I'd be sending this stuff back. But I used it for about a week and my face definitely felt smoother and softer, then today after another of twice daily use I noticed while looking in the mirror that my skin tone is much more even and my dark spots have faded a bit. I was surprised, this is the only thing I have changed in my skin care routine so this has to be it. I definitely recommend you give it a try, it's definitely a great deal. **UPDATE: I just changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I have used this for 2 months now , I just ordered more. It might last longer for some because I do use it before moisturizer both morning and night(the directions do say once a day tho.) I'm not sure if I mentioned in the first part of my review but I literally cannot count the number of AHA peels and serums that I have tried over several years. This one is refered to as a peel but you do not actually have to take it off once applied. So my update is because this is the BEST AHA formula that I have ever used and what's also great about it is that it is also the most AFFORDABLE one it completely transforms the texture of your face making it incredibly smooth. When I bought it I really didn't expect it to be so great at this price point. I can't say how much I highly recommend this!!!
