The protector is NOT advertised as case friendly, so I should have done more homework, but Amazon advertises it as such by having it in "Buy together" with a case, which I did. I left the film for almost 3 days before inserting the case, and one I did, there are visible bubbles on the edges. This is NOT ArmorSuit's fault as they have another protector (not matte) that is advertised as case friendly.Without the case, the film is cut to precision, does not form any bubbles (if it does, give it some time and they will vanish) and is easy to apply as long as you follow the instructions (make sure to spray your fingers and the side that goes to the screen).You will also immediately notice that there are no smudges from your fingers on the screen. The film keeps it very clean, especially compared to glass screen protectors that you have to wipe a few times per day.I give it 4 stars for the matte finish. My wife's iPhone also has a matte protector, but it looks a bit less grainy than this one, while it is matte. Not sure what the difference is, but there is one.Also love that ArmorSuit is made in the USA and have bought a few protectors from them over the years. Durability is excellent, as proven by my HTC Evo 4G that I have since 2010 with an ArmorSuit protector that is still intact and in place 10+ years later...Impressive.

I received the item promptly but had issues with it not staying on the edges of my S8. I messaged the company and received a replacement within a week. The 2nd stuck perfectly to the phone until I put it in my Otterbox. The problem is the case, not the screen protector. I love the matte finish and the edges that want to come up don't affect the main part so I will deal with it.

I’m crazy when it comes to fingerprint and anti-glare. For some reason, I wanted to see my screen without the film since all the anti-glare film will make your screen resolution worse and I just wanted to see some of my pictures without the screen... so fool me, I peeled my film but then I couldn’t put up with fingerprints afterwards, so I had to reorder this product. I love this film, it is a bit hard to install because you need to use a solution but overall, it is really strong and nice quality anti glare film. You will love it.

Although I'm no longer using this protector, it seemed to be a very good option. The only problem I had was my case made the edges peel up, so I had to switch to a case friendly protector. If you're not using a case, then the edge to edge coverage of this brand is excellent, there were no shortfalls or overages, it was a perfect fit. The anti-glare functionality was very nice, the only time there as any image ghosting was on high contrast content.

So you have to wait some time after applying it. They recommend doing it before bed. I followed the instructions that you have to get from their youtube channel. I was not a fan of using the spray both on the phone and the screen protector because when I squeegeed it off my phone some of the water went into my charging port and I had to wait 15 hours for it to dry and charge my phone again. So if you use it best to squeege towards the sides instead of down to the ports. But it does Anti Glare, the bubble are easy to remove, and no finger prints. Its also very grainy. It feels like I'm viewing everything in an old tv/vintage setting.

The screen protector, though it took me time to put on my phone, looks nice on my phone...UNTIL I put it in a protective casing. The screen protector then was pushed off the side and started to form bubbles. The screen protector is not case friendly. I emailed ArmorSuit regarding the problem and they helped me by providing me another one to try, and another backup. I give them five stars for their great customer service.

So. To be clear. I get ArmorSuit screen protectors all the time. I love them. But this experience was different. This screen protector was not case Friendly at all. It didn't not stay on with any cases I had for my phone. It kept peeling up on the edges and eventually the whole screen protector was messed up. Very disappointed as I had spent good money on this screen protector. Not case friendly at all. I'm sorry ArmorSuit, but you guys failed this one.

Looks great, feels great, fits awesome. easy to put on. BUT. Makes the screen grainy. You can kind of see the pixels or teeny tiny dots. Very tiring for the eyes. I could barely see what was on the screen. So I got the regular shield and I could not be happier. Armorsuit shields are the BEST for my samsung phones.
