ds is compatible with 3200, 3200XL,4200,4200XL,5200 and 5200XL Magimix food processors. It can be used with a variety of fruit and vegetables. The ingredients can be processed straight into the food processor bowl. It includes a choice of 2 separate mesh discs the medium mesh is built into the bowl. Bought it to mouli baby food, specifically prunes. Its messy, hard to clean, and a bit of a faff, but the mashed potato that you can make with it is to die for.

Great quality as always from magimix. Easy to use and clean in dishwasher. Only problem is storage but a great item. Would recommend this product.

Smash, bang, clang
I'm not able to use this kit without worrying I will damage my 4200XL.Maybe it is something i am doing wrong but can't be sure because the manual provided in the box is useless in 17 languages.When I turn it on the puree kit spins inside the bowls and a small protrusion on it smashes against the lid. It seems a small lip on the kit is supposed to fit nicely into a groove in the lid but if it gets going it just spins and crashes about.When it does work the mashed potatoes are divine. When it doesn't work (and it doesn't usually) I worry it will cost me a small fortune to replace a broken XL lid!

Good but expensive accessory.
Does what is says on the packet. Star lost because of the sheer expensive nature of the Magimix add on parts. You spend a fortune on a Magimix machine and them another fortune to buy additional accessories.

J'avais un premier presse purée et comme je ne pouvais l'installer correctement j'avais laissé tomber surtout qu'à l'époque il y avais des commentaires sur internet mentionnant ce problème. Têtue, j'ai décidé de m'y remettre, j'ai donc contacté Magimix qui ne m'a pas apporté la solution que je recherchais aussi je me suis dit que le problème devait être résolu depuis le temps et en commandant sur Amazon je pourrai toujours le retourner s'il ne fonctionnait toujours pas. La première fois, j'ai réussi à l'installer en fermant difficilement la cuve, mais après ce n'était pas la même chose. Impossible de fermer la cuve ou en forçant et avec un petit jour ce qui me paraît dangereux.quelqu'un peut-il me donner la solution?
