Great Work Boot
Husband works for James Hardie and is constantly in a cement slurry while working. He absolutely loves this boot. Comfortable, safe and water proof.

Boots for HVAC
Read some of the reviews about the boot tearing. I wear my boots everyday 6 days a week. Normal wear on the bottom due to walking, driving, climbing on roofs, in attics, washing down ac units with chemicals and all the above. And I’ll tell you what, these boots are made to last me a year and I’m fine with that. There’s a lot of abuse and mileage on my boots. Buy a pair every once a year. When I don’t that’s when things happen. Was wearing these bottom worn out boots on a old composite roof with a high pitch and ended up slipping down and falling off the roof. Ended up hurting my shoulder pretty bad. That’s when I remembered that I never bought a new pair like I normally do during the wet winter months. Was too busy I guess. When you own your own HVAC company sometimes you’re too busy that you forget the more essential stuff. Some good reliable boots. Love these boots because number one, no shoe laces. Then it’s waterproof. The most important thing is that they’re light and comfortable. Steel toe for safety and inner cushion sole for my feet for comfort. Then they look great.

Very comfortable
Fits like a glove. Firat day wearing these boot I wore them for 17 hours. Took about 2 days for them to break in completely. They feel great out of the box and amazing after broke in. They do not breathe well. So good for winter and summer. Feet stay warm however they sweat and when boot got dirty the sweat from my feet came through. Looked like it was cracking (it was not). I am an Ironworker welding, torching, cutting, grinding, shooting studs and after a week the boots look new. They handle heat and sparks extremely well and no foot fatigue after 2nd day. These are my new favorite boot. The heel is not as large as it appears in pictures. Walk the iron and over rear without issue.Only con and it is a huge one! They are not American made and super expensive as if they are. Would be nice if they were American made.UPDATE: I HAVE HAD THE BOOTS ALMOST A YEAR.I have actually broke the inside of the boot down before the outside failed. First time ever in my life. Still very comfortable and I am ordering another pair. The soles held up very well with all the abuse and outside of the abuse handles heats amazing. The sole and inside of the boot are only parts that have broken down to failure.

Not very durable only lasted a year
I don't normally write reviews so bare with me. After just over a year the sole of the boot is cracked pretty bad almost all the way through the sole. The tread has barley even worn. The boots fit ok and are decently comfortable.for 150 bucks this should not be an issue this soon. I wouldn't recommend this boot for the working man.

These are the best boots I've ever had. They are lightweight and very comfortable. Also a very durable boot.

Comfortable, but not a serious waterproof work boot
I am an everyday boot wearer, from the jobsite to the grocery store and everywhere in between. I even routinely get in trouble for boots in the house.Sidenote: get a set of the Red Wing inserts that you cook in the oven and mold to your feet by standing on them. If you wear boots like I do, it will be the best $40 you'll ever spend. But on to the boots..What you wear on your feet is the most important thing you put on your body every day. These boots are good, not great.Pros:Light - truly the lightest pair I have ever owned. I used to not care about a pound here or there, but it will be hard to go back to a heavier boot.Comfortable - Every pair I own is comfortable thanks to the redwing inserts, but these are among the most comfortable I have owned.Sturdy...sort of - The sole and from the ankle up are well made. no separation between layers of rubber after many hours in water.Cons:Sturdy....sort of - the black synthetic material (power welt?) is....what's the word?...oh yeah, junk. I kicked the underside of my step bumper to loosen some dried mud (a maneuver I've pulled 1000 times with my old Georgias) and split the toe of the right boot open. I didn't go "American History X" on it, it's plastic and I kind of flicked my boot into it to cause a vibration. So that boot is no longer water proof, which Is kind of a big deal, but whatever. My fault for overestimating the "power" welt. But hold up, the left boot isn't waterproof either. It is torn from, get this, walking. That's right, on the outside of the left boot, there is a 1.5 inch long tear where my pinky toe meets my foot because the "power" welt can't handle the abuse of being folded back and forth caused by taking steps. I was made aware of this issue while standing ankle deep in ice cold water a long way from a change of socks. It started as a barely noticable pin prick about 3 months after making them my daily wearers. After a year, the inside linings tore apart. It took quite a while to get all the hangies out so that I could get me feet back into them without something getting trapped under my heel and driving me nuts. After some surgery with a pair of scissors and a razor blade, they are wearable again.Price - for the materials, these should be about $100 boots. The funny thing is, even though I now have to avoid water (bought some Georgia Mud Dawgs for submerging), these are ripped on both boots and the lining is completely gone in both boots, I still wear them every day. That's how comfortable they are.But if you need one pair of boots to take a beating and do it all, while standing in water, look elsewhere. Rubber lower/leather upper hybrids have done very well for me.

Good looking solid work boot
I bought these for my son for Christmas. He loved them enough we bought them as his second pair. We had no issues with his first pair until he got them wet inside and one of the interior structure of the boot came apart. I like them because of the safety of them and a reasonable price for the quality.

Boots
Ok. So this is my second pair of Wellington's. My first pair I had when I was 8, I'm now 45. Been waiting 4 these boots 4 some time. they r so beautiful, and I am so looking forward to beating the crap out of them! I regularly rack up 30000+ plus steps on my phone in a day so it won't take long. I wore them to work the first day I got them and they r great. I didn't wear socks long enough to cover the top of the boot and the leather chaffed my shin up pretty good, but that is totally user error! Corrected the problem with proper boot socks and I am probably 10 days into breaking them in. Slow and steady! And no more blood.
