This is very affordable stuff. My Kinetico delivered water is soft again and I couldn't be happier saving a $500+ service visit. It came to me in one day, which is amazing. Great shipper.

The resin came in 2 burlap bags 1 cubic ft. with no damage also resin was nice and clean no smell as accepted. no problems will buy again.

This resin smells horrid.The resin arrived mid-week along with another 1 cubic foot (to make 1.5 in to total) from another brand.The photo shows a tightly packed package, but instead I got a cardboard box with a yellow burlap mesh bag full of dry resign.The other brand can in a non permeable package and was actually slight wet, not completely dry.After a few days I commented to my wife something in the house stunk. We discovered it was the package of resin (hadn't used it yet and was sitting in the house) and I quickly moved it into the garage and the followed with it.I shrugged it off and decided this might just be the smell it emits after being manufactured, so I continued with the project to restore the softener.Now, after completing the project our water smells like the resin. Which I hope goes away soon, cause if it doesn't, I will have to dump all the resin back out.Buy resin elsewhere.Update: 9/4/2020Update:I've contacted 'HydroTec Systems' who informed me that this is NOT their listing, and this is NOT their product.Who knows where this resin comes from but it did NOT come from HydroTec.I will be contacting Amazon to discuss a refund of this resin and the good resin (Purolite - This stuff was great and had no smell.) that I purchased.This is $200 worth of softener media that I will have to dump out to rid our home of this rotten smell.--I was able to reach Amazon who refunded me the cost of all the resin so that I can replace it with better resin that doesn't smell.Research for reputable manufacturers of softener resin before purchasing!

Used this to add to my larger tank after realizing I didn’t put enough resin in the first time. The results are as expected, more soft water. Beads look like the same stuff I got from my local professional shop.

I have received the 1/2 cube of resin and the bag is not waterproof like the 1 cube bag after opening to put in my softner the product was dried out and like a sand not the normal soft resin. I hope this does not ruin my softner. I have checked my water multiple times after a regeneration and water is not soft. I need to see how to get product replacement as it is defective.
