Water Filter Jug Onyx White 4.2L with 3 x Maxfor+ Cartridges

Love the look of this filter jug, which is shaped more like a traditional jug shape. Having had the filter countdown break on my last 2 Brita, thought it was time to try a mechanical countdown. Also likely to be more accurate, given it's based on actual number of times lid is opened rather than just by week. We've been using it for just over a week now, & it's hardly moved at all...so maybe the claim that filters can last 2 months will turn out to be true. The filters are easy to fit & do seem to filter more quickly. Water tastes absolutely the same as my Brita-filtered water did - water quality is just as I would hope. The huge capacity is great - but it does mean it's quite heavy, so anyone struggling to lift anything a bit heavier might need to consider that. For us, it's brilliant - attractive, easy to use, great-tasting water & brilliant value

Instructions could be better but it is incredible. Going to use the water for my Bluair dreamwell humidifier, topping up my fridge water dispenser, Nespresso machine & kettle ..With 3 cartridges included & being 4.2L .This is an absolute bargain.

The highlight of the jug is the filter dial thast shows you when it's gonna run out. I recently purchased the AQUAPHOR Jug and have been very impressed with its performamace . The jug is easy to use, and lightweight. The filtration system work effectively, noticeably improving the taste and quality of tap water by reducing chlorine and other impurities. Brought this to replace my Brita Filter Jug and it doesn’t disappoint. Our water is now crystal clear and tastes fresh.

Very pleased with this item which I bought to replace a dreadful Brita filter jug which turned green inside with no way to clean it out. Also the lid was easily broken. The aquaphor is a much nicer design and is a great deal easier to clean than the Brita jug.

Fantastic item for the family. I can taste the difference between tap water and water coming from the jug. Large enough too. For the price it's really value for money.

Tenía otra que compré por aquí que todo el rato se le caía la tapa, también era más pequeña y no era de esta marca. Esta se ve grandota, amplia, y tiene un buen tamaño de almacenamiento para no tener que estar recargandola todo el tiempo. El sabor es bastante bueno, a mí me gusta, el tamaño es el ideal para dos personas que bebemos mucha agua diariamente y se filtra bastante rápida (un plus) La única pega que tampoco considero pega es que el ser tan grande he tenido que quitar una balda para meterla en el frigorífico, pero prefiero eso a cargar botellas, además, tampoco me supone un problema porque me sigue cabiendo todo en la nevera. Tiene un precio bastante bajo para lo que ofrece, trae también un filtro, por lo que pienso que es una muy buena compra y pienso repetir en cuanto se rompa. También he de decir que los filtros son bastantes fáciles de encontrar, por lo que también es algo positivo ya que muchas veces te rompes la cabeza para encontrarlos.

Ich habe seit ca. 1 1/2 Jahren einen SodaStream Duo mit den großen 1 Liter-Flaschen! Dafür wollte ich hauptsächlich den Wasserfilter haben! Mein Wasser ist zwar nicht so sehr kalkhaltig, aber etwas Kalk ist ja immer vorhanden! Und die selbstgesprudelten Getränke schmecken so einfach besser und elektrische Geräte, wie Kaffeemaschine, Wasser- oder Eierkocher danken es einem, in dem sie nicht mehr zusätzlich entkalkt werden müssen! Ich hatte erst das kleinere Modell Aquaphor Amethyst, der 2,8 Liter umfassen soll, aber meiner Meinung nach hat er viel weniger Volumen! Jedenfalls reichte das gefilterte Wasser im Behälter nie dafür, um zwei 1-Liter-Flaschen mit Wasser zu befüllen! Ich musste immer noch einiges Wasser nachfiltern, bis ich die 2 Flaschen voll hatte! Das war auf Dauer einfach nervig! So habe ich mir dann diesen Wasserfilter gekauft (inkl. 3 beiliegenden Kartuschen) - und mit dem bekomme ich jetzt endlich auch zwei 1-Liter-Flaschen aufeinmal mit Wasser befüllt, ehe ich wieder nachfiltern muss! Da ich immer sehr gerne (auch im Winter) eisgekühlte Getränke trinke, habe ich mir vor Jahren eine Eiswürfelmaschine zugelegt! Hierfür benötige ich auch immer locker 2,5 Liter Wasser, damit sie mit der Eiswüfenproduktion loslegen kann! Deshalb bin ich mit diesem Wasserfilter jetzt auch endlich rundum zufrieden! Er hat vielleicht den Nachteil, dass er nicht in die Kühlschranktür passt, aber dafür habe ich unten im Kühlschrank Platz geschaffen, wo er immer stehen kann! Somit ist sein Platzanspruch kein Problem! Außerdem ist er aus bruchsicherem hochwertiges TRITAN hergestellt, sodass er auch mal "ein irgendwo gegenstoßen" problemlos wegstecken kann, ohne gleich einen Sprung zu bekommen oder gar zu Bruch zu gehen! Auch das Ausgießen ist dadurch sehr viel angenehmer, weil die Ausgießöffnung besser an meinen Glasflaschen "liegen bleibt"! Der 1. kleinere Wasserfilter ist aus einem billigen Hartplastik hergestellt, wo durch er extem für Kratzer und Stöße sehr anfällig ist! Und so richtig gut in die Kühlschranktür passte er auch nicht wirklich - er ist genau dadruch im unteren Bereich nach nur 5 Monaten sehr verkratzt gewesen, was nicht wirklich schön aussah! Von daher ärgere ich mich nur, dass ich mir nicht gleich diesen größeren und sehr viel besseren Wasserfilter gekauft habe! Ich habe mir für den Wasserfilter Langzeit-Kartuschen gekauft und mit einer reiche ich, bei meinem relativ wenig kalkhaltigen Wasser, ca. 6 Monate, ehe ich diese wieder wechseln muss! Mit diesem Wasserfilter bin ich endlich rundum glücklich und zufrieden! Das Preis-Leistungverhältnis mit inkl. 3 Filterkartuschen für knappe 29,00€ war absolut okay! Durch das bruchsichere TRITAN-Material dürfte er sehr langlebig sein und mir viele Jahre gute Dienste leisten! Falls er doch mal irgdendwann ersetzt werden müsste, so würde ich ihn jedenfalls sofort wieder kaufen (zumindest hoffe ich, dass er dann auch noch erhältlich sein wird)! Dafür gibt's von mir uneingeschränkt die vollen 5 Sterne und eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!
