Clear Acrylic Dough Sheet 16 Inch by 16 Inch

This acrylic dough sheet works great. The dough doesn't stickand it cleans up is a breeze. I hung mine up on a nail on the sideof my pantry.

Keeps the mess at a minimum and helps get the dough to the correct size.

I make a lot of pies and this dough sheet makes rolling and transferring so easy! I also use it for cookie dough.It is also easy to clean. Love it!

I recently saw this on sale and picked it up because I've begun baking more and thought that this would come in handy. The overall idea of the sheet is great. I usually roll my dough too large or to small and this takes the guesswork out of it. The problem with this ends up being that it is solid acrylic. On the first try with mine this weekend I found out that it was not completely flat. When set on my countertop it rocked ever so slightly, but not what you want when trying to roll out dough evenly. I am not sure if it is warped from shipping or straight from the factory and although I am keeping it, I do plan on finding something more like this one  Mario Batali The Italian Kitchen Collection Silicone Work Mat  that is made of silicone and will lay flat on my counter.

I really like the idea of a solid surface as opposed to the one's that roll up. It works fairly well with cookie dough. I haven't tried pie crust, though. It would probably work better with that.
