when you buy a belt size, what hole in the belt is that size? middle, closet to the inside or outside? it would be nice to provide a range.

Hello, the MIDDLE hole is the size of the belt. There are 5 holes at 1" apart each, so you would have ~2-3" variance in sizing below and above the belt size.

If I need a 125 cm belt, what size to buy?

Don't buy these belts, they do not last and the merchant doesn't respond!!! 25cm = 49.22 inched so you want at least 50 inches but I would suggest 52 inches.

The buckle on my belt broke after about 7 months; how can I get a replacement buckle?

Mine broke also. Inferior product. On mine, the leather tore away from the belt the buckle was fine. Look closely at yours to see exact cause of failure.

Can this belt be cut down to size?

Any belt could be cut down to any size, however i wouldn't recommend it as it can damage the leather end.
