OTTOMATE Zen Connect Pro Smart BLDC with Remote 3 Blade 1200 MM High Speed Ceiling fan (Aqua Silver, Pack of 1)

One of the best BLDC fans in the title for the reason I found this was the one of the only fans which has 14 speed steps (there may be others but I am not aware). though not sure if its 14 steps but its definitely greater than 6. I have Atomberg BLDC in another room which has 6 steps but the speed jump from 2-3 is not gradual and I was definitely looking for a smoother speed transition and this fits well.Another feature I liked was Breeze and Mop modes. Mop is definitely useful, better ask your lady at home. I dont know when flip mode can be used and its significance its just an additional feature.Power saving is sure at benchmark level. it will definitely save a lot on electricity billsWhat I didnt like.Appearance and aesthetics are not of 5 star level. I would rate them 2 to 3. I think the appearance can be improvised.One of the problems I see is in long term there is possibility of huge dust collection due to the design as can be seen in snaps attached. The pockets will keep accumulating dust and it will be a task to access and clean the dust.There is no visual way to figure out if the fan is unpowered or what is the current speed. some LED indication would definitely have made life easier.Two Arrow buttons < & > (can be seen in pics) provided on remote, the function of these buttons cant be found anywhere on instruction leaflet or internet.Most BLDC fans have 2,4,6,8 hr auto turn off, this one doesnt have it.OVERALL RECOMENDATION : Worth buying

The media could not be loaded.  Best sturdy packaging, nice build quality , premium glossy golden ring finish and good remote, but one bad thing I noticed and that is its very small rod, which is not suitable incase your fan hook is quite deep in the roof mount. Sound less performance which is quite upto the mark.

I bought 8 Ottomate fans for my new home. 4 of them are of this model.Good:1. BLDC fan technology saves power. That's great.2. Remote control is convenient, though it is confusing to figure out whether to switch on from the remote or the wall switch.Bad:1. One of the fans of this model stopped working altogether.2. Called Ottomate support repeatedly. They promised to send someone within 48hrs but it's been 10+ days now. Deeply disappointed.3. Fans of another (more expensive) model also developed loud grating noise (bearings?) that make them unusable during phone/video calls.WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS product and manufacturer anymore.

I am very excited to have these new technology fans, these are good looking and energy saving. Also customer support is very good, I have called them for seeking information they picked my phone and replied. They cleared all my doubt wht I was having fo the product.

The remote does not work properly, right out of the box. Unfortunately my help discarded the box so cannot register the warranty. Prefer atomberg fans. Their remotes work well from a distance. Thought I'd try this brand for a change. Ottomate was a disappointment.

Stopped working after 40 days. Was making noise. Contacted customer for many times no reply. Now will contact amazon for help
