Overall great carry-on, shame about the weighting
I travel a lot now for work, so I needed a carry-on that is 1) spacious/makes the best use of space, 2 )lightweight, 3) easy to manoeuvre and 4 )durable. And this bag scores highly in all categories except manoeuvrability.1) Spacious - 4/5: I can pack a lot in this bag. If I'm going on a trip that 7 days or less if the weather is hot, or 4 days or less if it's cold, I can fit all I need in this (4 changes of clothes and underwear, spare pair of shoes, toiletries and laptop). And this is without using the extra expandable area of the luggage. Even the 3 front pockets are more generous in space than they look. The only downside is the internal net pocket on the inside of the lid. Why they bothered, I don't know. It's actually best used for documents or socks/underwear if folded flat. Anything bulkier than that doesn't fit well starts to encroach on the laptop pocket on the other side, making it bow out. Also given the mesh opening is only in the centre of the flap, it's hard to pack it to all corners anyway. I truly don't know why they bothered.2) Lightweight - 5/5: This is such a lovely lightweight case. When walking around an airport a lot and constantly having to put it in the overhead bin, every pound counts. the little assister handle at the bottom of the suitcase is also great for helping you put it in the overhead bin.3) Easy to manoeuvre - 3/5: This is the main area this bag lets me down. On the positive side, the wheels have a very smooth action and they spin 360 very easily, which is important when trying to move through people traffic and barriers at the airport. But if you pack the bag full (even without the bag being expanded) and have a laptop in the front sleeve, it will fall over if you don't have a constant grip on it. This frontloading of weight is the biggest design flaw. It even affects wheel movement which is why it's sometimes easier to drag it behind you instead of using all 4 wheels when full.4) Durability - 5/5: I've had to check this bag several times due to buying liquids on a trip above the carry-on allowance. Being cloth I feared for the worst the first time I checked it. But it came out on the conveyor belt looking as good as it did when I dropped it off. The fabric must be made out of Teflon! Even the couple of times it's been dusty, it brushes right off. And aesthetic aside, there has been no ripping or tearing of the fabric either.Overall, do I like this bag? Yes! I've packed/travelled quite comfortable with this bag for over a year. Will the issues I've mentioned above stop me from keeping an eye out for a better solution? No. The front loading and internal compartment design annoy me enough for me to not be 100% satisfied with the purchase.

Smart design, highly manoeverable
Bought this to comply with Alaska Airlines’ new smaller carry on rules. Just took it on its first trip, a 2-day trip packed for visiting an industrial site. Was able to hold everything shown in the photos:- 1 pair safety shoes, each stuffed with socks and underwear- 1 pair heavy duty jeans- 2 heavy long sleeve shirts- 3 t-shirts- safety vest with safety glasses and flashlight in its pockets- toiletries- compression bag that held all the shirtsMake no mistake - it was stuffed! Used the expansion gusset to load it but then zipped it shut so it held it all in its smallest shape. But, it would not have worked to put anything rigid in the front pockets. The case rolls and manoevers super-smoothly, so the claims about the fancy Japanese wheels are true. I had a fairly loaded backpack riding on it, which made it a tad top heavy and wanting to tip away when pushing it narrow end forward. The fix under those conditions was to turn it 90 degrees to have the wide side forward. Without the heavy backpack it was not prone to tipping. The case seems well and thoughtfully built. The case extends slightly below the wheels for a touch extra space. The outer pockets are very smart and I look forward to using them when I’m not so heavily packed. The grab handles are tight to the body so they won’t cause you to strike out at the carry on sizer. Time will tell about durability.UPDATE: Tested it fully loaded in one of Alaska’s new sizers, and it squeezed in.

This bag is amazing and stays upright
Love this bag. It's just the right size for carry-on, looks beautiful inside and out, moves smoothly on its wheels, and most importantly it actually stays standing when you let go of it! I previously tried the Amazon Basics carryon that looks very similar to this and I loved it's design but unfortunately it would tip over constantly and I had to return it. This bag had no such problems. The only downside to the bag is that the wheels extend out from the bag and so you lose a couple cubic inches of packable space in order to get the dimensions to fit the new airline carry-on requirement (the Amazon Basics bag had the wheels set inside the body of the suitcase, which was very very nice but possibly contributed to the falling-over issue). That issue aside, everything else about this is perfect. Definitely keeping this one!

This is not a carry on!
The description of this bag, when I purchased it 9 months ago, said it was carry on size. Unfortunately I didn't research this point and bought it for my frequent flyer husband as a gift. It is a great bag, everything you expect from Victorinox. However, it is not carry on size. Depending on the airline it is 2-4 inches too long. Had I known this, I would not have purchased this bag, but we have it, we use it for checked baggage and it is great quality. I see the description has since changed. Happy travels.

Perfect carry-on - requires self-discipline.
I have been traveling a bit more for business, and decided it was time to retire my mother's 1995-era roll-aboard with a more modern bag. Having appreciated Victorinox suitcases for years now, I focused on that brand - it's one that emphasizes a suitcase's weight as well as its overall functionality. This bag is a delight to roll down the center aisle of a plane. It's easy to pick up and stow, and doesn't hog a large area in the overhead bin. I'm pleased with the capacity - there's enough room for overnight essentials, a second outfit, and toiletries. I pack my dress shoes and wear my bulkier fitness shoes on board to save a bit of space. Overall, the bag requires a certain amount of self-discipline to pack, but the benefits of a lighter, compact bag outweigh any capacity disadvantage.

Great quality but a tad bit small!
This bag came with the dimensions mentioned so the size was no surprise. Compared to some other carry on bags I've seen it is somewhat small but my guess is that it will be a good size for carry on on almost all flights. Used this to pack for a week long trip and it had plenty of room for my clothes. It rolls very smoothly and has been great to use.

Excelente maleta!
