This was a great option for me. I already had an extra shop-vac I wasn't using. So I was able to give new life for an old tool. My needs for dust collection sums up to a DIY, weekend wood worker so I didn't want to put a lot of time and money into dust collection and this option works great for me. the hose is good quality and with the attachments it came with I was able to hook up to all the tools i have for dust collection

I purchased this because II wanted a dust collection system for my small shop. I have used it six times and found that it operates exactly described. It was especially helpful when I used it while sanding the finish off an old alter I rebuilt. I was surprised by the amount of dust collected - didn't expect it to collect as much fine sanding dust as it did. The only downside for me is the frequency of dumping my catch container. I used a 3 gallon pail to save space - which necessitates more frequent dumping. The only challenge I have with this is connecting it to my equipment - orbital sander, belt sander, router table and table saw. The dust extraction ports are all different - making it a challenge when moving from one tool to the next. I would have given it 5 stars but have not had sufficient experience with it to know if issues will arise during long-term use.

This cyclone works great in my small wood shop.Worth every penny. Really heavy duty too!

Used this with 6 gallon HD bucket and shop vac in my small shop. It works so good.

Catches 99% of the saw dust. Shop vac will only have a very light coat of dust

I purchased this cyclone due to the good reviews. The reviews were very misleading. After putting in a lot of effort to build a suitable collection container, I test ran it with my planner. After only ten minutes use it had completely filled my shop vac and only a tiny bit of dust and chips were in the collection container. The result was the same as if I had hooked the shop vac directly to the planner. This product did not work at all! Do not buy!!

I use this thing everyday , it’s better than the duatstopper, better then dust deputy , better than every other shop vac cyclone out there .It’s well made super hard plastic and easy to clean .I would highly recommend this cyclone to anyone
