Amazing!
Just learned how easy it is to use a touch screen with an Arduino. Will do more projects like this in the future.

So easy and beautiful graphics
This display is so easy to work with. I was overwhelmed at the beginning but quickly realized that my problem was the microcontroller not the display. Once I realized that, I quickly came up with a 4 page design with very sharp images. I was using another display and wasted so much time and money. I wish I had started with nexion products from the beginning.

Easy to use
Very easy to program display and also easy Arduino code to use. Since the display has all the data in it for what you want to display the Arduino program is smaller and easier to code.

Beautiful images and colors, difficult to use
I've had to use several of these. They're gorgeous and mount up easily, but there is no useful direction on how to use them. The interface works, but only after you've spent dozens of hours learning how to use it.If you're already familiar with these, get more. If you're not, hire a programmer to do your work. And be prepared to delay your project a year.

Requires learning a whole new programming language w/ no support, documentation, or examples
First off I'm not one of the paid reviewers so you can trust me to be truthful. Physically a great product. It worked exactly as it was supposed to so that's a plus. However that is where the praise stops. This isn't a "display" per se. It is a microcontroller with a built in serial interface for which you must purchase a separate usb to serial adapter (I already had one and knew it would be needed beforehand). I bought mine to communicate to an Arduino. I'm building a power controller and I wanted to program a couple or few buttons to turn on and off certain things and monitor the current of the various outlets. So I was looking at a few buttons and some meter displays. Easy peasy done it thousands of times EEEEHHHHH!!!!! wrong answer. This thing has its own editor that at first looks great but then you realize there is little or no usable information about it. So I decided to look at some of their "examples". That's when you realize that the 16 examples that are included with the editor won't open because they were written for a previous version and aren't compatible with the new editor "Can not open this file (Your HMI file is made by low version Editor)" it says. Then you find out that they don't have the old editor available anymore so the "examples" are useless. So I begin looking deeper and that is when I realize that this thing has it's own programming language, instruction set, and system variables. I just want a couple buttons and meters! This is worse than teaching yourself Pascal or ADA on an IBM 5150 I kid you not! So I go to their website but then you look at their "Forum" and it says that in the last 12 months there are 0 (zero) posts. How is that even possible? I think I might try to power through this a little longer but it looks more likely than not that it's going back. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you want to learn an entire programming language and proprietary editor with no documentation and no support for a device that nobody has cared to comment about whatsoever on their own website EVER.
