Similar to LG for one third of the price. Good Deal.
I had the LG 730 ($55) and it lasted about 2 years before it broke (left ear no sound). Before that, I had the previous LG version, nearly identical headset. It also lasted about 2 years before it broke (again, left ear no sound, and it cost 10 bucks more at 65).This time, I spent 20 bucks for the no-name brand, SoundPeats Q900.The good• About a third of the price of the comparable LG headset• You get an extra 6 months warranty if you sign up at their web site• The sound is about the same as the LG. Good, not great.• Better reviews than the LG• Initial pairing – super easy and fast. The bad• No fast-forward or reverse, which the LG had• These are NOT audiophile headphones. They sound decent, but not wow• The ear piece is a tiny bit less comfortable than the LGsWhat else• The buttons are in opposite places than the LG, so you have to memorize new placement. For example, the answer phone button is on the right, not the left. Not a big deal, just have to get used to it if you are switching from LG• The “power on/battery medium/paired” lady voice has a British accent. Who doesn’t like that?OverallIf this were a $60 headset I would give it 4 stars. As a $20 headset, it gets 5 stars. If it lasts 2 years (or more) it’s a bargain. We’ll see.

Finally found great headphones!
I am super picky when it comes to my headphones. Too lose, not loud enough. I got tired of my iphone headphones getting hung up on everything from door knobs to stove knobs and even dog paws! It took a day or so to get used to having something on my neck but now I do not even notice them. They are very lightweight! They come with extra earbuds so you can customize the size. They pop right off and back on. I love the volume! Whether I am listening to music or audible or on a phone call. The sound is great. My friend has a similar (a lot more expensive) pair and we were comparing. She preferred the sound of the SoundPeats over hers! They charge really quickly and last all day. I am on them much of the day. I have listened to an entire audio book (14 hrs) and talked on the phone on one charge. The sound from both sides is clear. The person on the other end can hear you clearly and they come through clear. They are noise canceling so the background noise is cut out. A nifty thing I found out by chance is if they are already on, i can plug the auxillary cable in and it will play on my car stereo instead of the headphones but when a call comes through it goes to the headphones. When you're done with the headphone you can just pull them out and they magnetically go back to where they belong. They would be a great gift for anyone that likes music or works out. They are great headphones at an even better price!!!!

> Extremely light weight and comfortable. I typically haven't liked in-the-ear-type buds but these ...
I have used this for a couple of days now and so far I am quite impressed. I have had a number of bluetooth mono headsets over the years and bought the Aftershokz Titanium earlier this year and promptly lost it when it slipped off my neck without me noticing. So I picked this unit to avoid spending that level of money again for a bit and am surprised at how well it works, especially since I could buy 5 of them for the price of one Aftershokz! My pros: > Extremely light weight and comfortable. I typically haven't liked in-the-ear-type buds but these were very comfortable and the unit is so light weight you barely notice it is there. I have worn this with the right bud in my ear all day at work and no discomfort at all. I also didn't have to play with the included extra tips - the mediums were perfect. > I easily paired them with my phone and then with my bluetooth TV so that I can listen to the TV without disturbing anyone else. Easy and the sound is very clear. > Battery? Cannot say yet because it still announces that the battery is full after a full day of wearing it! My Jabra Stealth needs charging every other day, but this looks like it will last much longer. > Connection: I wear my phone on my hip, so I haven't tested it for distance. But my Jabra Stealth goes into a funk where it repeatedly looses connection then reconnects, only to disconnect and reconnect. And it announces it every time, both ways, so it is distracting and frustrating. So far, this has not lost connection once. No unwanted announcements, just the occasional bragging that the battery is full which seems to automatically occur about every 3 hours. > Call clarity: I had a long conversation today where the party on the other end didn't know I was on bluetooth and never asked me to repeat anything because I broke up or there was interference. Far better than what I had expected!Cons:Nothing major. I was expecting to change the tips to Comply foam but I am not sure which one to get. I expect that it will improve noise reduction and bass a bit, but I was planning on the change to make these more comfortable and that is really not necessary.By the way, one of the things that had me considering the Jabra Halo Smart was the Jabra software that reads texts through the headphones. If you are one who would like that feature, any modern smartphone can do that with either a built in app or, my preference, the ReadItToMe app that you can download. I thought I would have to give up the convenience of having my texts read to me, but adding this app provides this functionality to any bluetooth headset and goes beyond by allowing you to control which apps you allow to have notifications read through the headset. Works perfectly with the Soundpeats.Service: Just a quick note on service. I contacted Soundpeats about the Comply tips just to see if the earbuds were the same diameter as other Soundpeats units that Comply does list. I didn't quite get the answer - I think it is a language issue - but the two email exchanges that we had were both prompt and courteous. Each email was responded to within 24 hours and they tried to help, but again I am not sure they understood my question. But that is less relevant now, knowing that these are comfortable without changing to Comply tips that cost almost as much as these do!Recommended? Yes, even if they were double or triple the cost. At this price, it's a steal. 10 hour battery, comfortable, good sound including my voice on the other end of phone calls, and sweatproof should I ever decide to exercise (unlikely?!).
