Riga Gold Smoked Sprats in Oil - Wild Caught (Pack 3)

Their sardines are like no others. They have such a nice smoked flavor that I had never tasted with any other brands, and I got so many of my families and friends hooked on them. In fact, I once opened the large jar for a party if 10 people, and it disappeared in less than 10 minutes and I never got to eat any ! I highly recommend it if you like sardines.

But I confess you get what you pay for. I can not afford these very often but for a very special treat, these will blow your socks off! A special occasion, spend the money! (Just save them for very special guests)

I would never purchase these again. They are not very smoky tasting, but the killer was trying to get them out of the jar. They are quite mushy so extraction is nigh unto impossible without destroying the piece. After you mangle the first half of the jar trying to get them out, you can get some whole ones if you shake the jar to loosen then up.

This is a whole new level of sardines! Yes they are hard to get out of the jar. Who cares? I'm going to eat the whole thing anyway! So good I didn't even want to eat them on a cracker or with mustard. Just straight. Yum!

The container size is a bit small for the overall price paid. I would not likely purchase again based on the size. The sardines did taste good.

this thing taste squishy and the flavor is bad. I bought it last year, and I only ate one can, still don't have the courage to open another.
