Second time buying, first time it broke quickly but this time seems to be lasting

I use it for my tablet, and phone. It is flexible enough and sturdy.

There’s a brand that starts with an “A” (not Apple) that I always use for electronic cables/accessories like this, but saw this for a really great price, looked through the reviews and decided to “risk it” even though I had no experience with this brand before. Glad I did.Cable is working just as well as (maybe better than, actually) the OEM Apple cable. Haven’t always had great luck buying low priced cables/electronic accessories on Amazon—particularly in the last couple years—but this was a great purchase. If you need one of these, highly recommend getting this one.I know this’ll sound dumb, but it’s one of those little things where every time I see it (which is often since it’s my main charging cord for my laptop) I still get that smug, self-satisfied, taking-undue-credit “wow, that was a smart purchase” feeling.You can, too—just get this cable.

Even if a charger looks like it could withstand alot and it looks like it might be sturdy doesn't mean that the quality is good. My Google pixel charger is made like any other charger. But let me just tell you the durability is ridiculous. That's been my experience in the past with other chargers. Same thing with this one. Not in all cases do you get what you pay for. But, in this instance when it comes to chargers spend the money and get quality you won't be buying replacement so often. From day one hooked up a kept getting a not charging signal from 2 different devices.. So I know it was the charger. When it did connect properly it charges powerfully and quickly..

I've had this cable for about 2 months, and it worked great for what I needed it for until this morning. I left my laptop to charge on this overnight and when I came to take it off in the morning, the cable head was scorching hot and burned my finger. The inside of the cable was melted as well as the charging port of my laptop, and my laptop won't turn on anymore either. This could've easily turned into a case of thermal runaway and caused a fire right underneath my nose if I didn't catch it early enough. Throwing this cable away and avoiding this brand like the plague.
