Needed metal tray to save egg whites when recipes only need yolks. Egg whites can’t be frozen in plastic, that breaks down components. Now I’m not throwing away 1 egg part or the other. Would have preferred singles or a pair but was pleased to find 6 slot tray amongst all the 12s. Removal tricky, certainly wouldn’t use it for anything else. Plastic trays or metal with release lever much easier to use for ice.

Thai ice tray is super shallow and small. I bought it to put fresh purified ice cubes in my daughters Stanley mug. This is so small it will take days of making ice to fill it once. Worst part is how hard of is to get the cubes out of the tray. Bad design. Waste of $$

Great sized cubes. We’re trying to replace as much plastic in the kitchen as we can - so wanted to try these. The plastic handle is absolutely useless. Need to run it under water to get cubes out, which isn’t a big deal. Can’t really take out 1-2 at a time. I end up removing all and keeping them in an ice chest in the freezer. I will keep using it but it totally understand why people stopped using metal trays.

Love the quality, build, material, ease of use. Bu two major cons prevent me from recommending for cocktails. 1. These cubes are TINY. I know the measurements are clearly defined in the description, so that's on me. But these need to be at least 50% larger for a nice cube of ice in a cocktail. 2. These cubes ARE NOT CUBES! They are flat squares. Hope the manufacturer makes a larger size and actual cube shapes. I would buy that! I'm looking for a perfect square cube that is 3x3 inches.

I wanted to replace my silicone ice trays (silicone smells after a short time and may not be a healthy choice). I tried this a as an alternative. The tray is shallow (small ice cubes). The removal is tricky but once I realize what the suction cup was for it was apparent.

I was looking for a tray that was small and of stainless steel and this was perfect. I just need a few cubes for a smoothie and this worked out well. The little suction cup works well for the lid to come off and after a quick rinse on the back the cubes release.

I thought this would be something useful to produce ice cubes larger that the ones made by fridge ice makers. They are bigger but not what I had in mind. Using this tray takes more effort than it is worth. I can't see any advantage over the silicone ones that take up less space, are easier to empty and and provide more ice cubes.
