Great addition of my books. Loved the history of boot making. Shows old style boots and how they were made. Gives you information on book makers around the U.S.A. and to where you can get custom boots made.

It is a fun book, especially fun as a cocktail table book in WY, CO and KS, where I have family and friends. I gave it away as a party favor for friends at a western themed party! Great find!!!

This is a great handy guide on the Cowboy Boot. Superb pictures, decent history, homage and resources make it a punchy read, well worth the money. If you like the cowboy boot, you'll be thinking of visiting Texas, and before that, hunting up E-bay for a bargain!I've been wearing cowboy boots for 34 years - it's a keeper!

辞書のようなサイズの本です。トニーラマやルケーシーなどのような日本で有名なブランドよりも、アメリカ現地の老舗ブーツメーカーのカスタムブーツ、ファンシーブーツが多く載っています。文章は全て英語なので写真を見て楽しむ本ですねww 載ってるブーツはどれも飾って楽しむような超派手なものばかりですが、「これを履いていったら一目置かれそう」なものも少しだけ乗ってます。カタログ的感覚では楽しめない本なので「ああ、こんなブーツもあるんだぁ～」的な感覚で楽しめれば良いかと思います。

Excellent book, very interesting. Full of fantastic photographs of the weird and wonderful, all of them being real works of art. Makes us want to fill our wardrobe with examples of this craft- funds permitting!

ハードカバー、フルカラー、300ページ以上の充実した内容。再販か何かで価格改定されたのか理由は不明ですが、シール貼りされたバーコードを剥がすと下から22.5ドルの文字が。確かにamazonでも別途1,921円で売っているページがありますよね。ISBN-13: 978-0789315373写真も相当綺麗で、元もとのこの価格に十分値する素敵な本です。辞書のような大きさもなかなかにチャーミングで、常に隣においておきたいような愛着もわきます。本文はもちろん英語ですが、本の中身9割は写真なので、単純に楽しめます。カウボーイブーツファンはぜひお手元にどうぞ。
