Nicely built
Nice sturdy portable speaker. It puts out great volume without distortion. I haven't tested it water proof ability since I bought it for inside use. Being blue tooth makes it easy to use. I've had it for over a year with no problems.

A fantastic value for a loud, mid-level BT outdoor speaker
I was close to getting the Anker portable BT speaker for almost twice the price, but SO glad I found this instead. Our trusty old Bose Soundlink speaker finally died after 5 years of excellent service. Instead of hassling with a $40 replacement battery, I found this boom-box for about $70 and figured it's worth a try, especially if it's louder and bass-ier than the Bose - and it is!Pros:Plays LOUD! Not "hurt your hearing" loud, but loud enough that it doesn't just drift away on the wind when used in outdoor settings.Big, easy to see & use buttons.Connects to BT quickly and with a pleasant chime (UNlike my Pyle BT speakers that squak a police radio sound at max volume - I have to cover my ears when connecting!)Equalizer profiles are nice - one for music, one for voice (I assume). I wish there were some indicator of which is in use.Overall build quality seems surprisingly sturdy, even though it's plastic. End-caps nicely protect the side woofers (which have a lot of movement when bass is loud).Has every type of audio connection and possibility of adding 2nd unit for true stereo - which I just might do!Cons:Kinda chunky and ugly, though some may like the design. I may paint it after a while, when it can no longer be returned!Don't like the carry strap and am looking to replace with some kind of semi-rigid handle. Not really a "con" but it's weird that the battery life indicator lights are built into the EQ setting button. It makes the lights look like they should be showing you which EQ setting you're on, not the battery life. Weird.Final thoughts: Not up to the broad, warm sound of our old Bose speaker, but I was not expecting that at this price-point. It does sound pretty good and has a fairly flat response, with a little fall-off in the upper mid-range that's slightly noticeable. After using it just a few times already I don't even notice it now. You can always use your music app's EQ to get it where you want it. Overall a great value. Very highly recommend this unit if you can get it for the $70-ish price.

Loud inexpensive speaker ! Well worth the buy !
I have had a few different speakers and this one by far is the best ! I can listen to it in the car with the windows down on the highway and still hear the music! It is waterproof and had a strap that is attached for easy travel and the bass is powerful! I also really love that I can charge things from the speaker ! I have only taken one star off because it doesn’t have a radio option and it doesn’t have forward and backward buttons to change the song maybe there is a way with the up and down volume buttons I just haven’t read the manual! This is a must buy !!! It’ll be great at our next get together !

But it now
I have only had this speaker for 1 day so I can’t speak to the battery life or how long it will hold up. With that being said, I love it. I have a Jlab Crasher XL, which I do like, that I have been using in my side by side lately. The Jlab just wasn’t quite loud enough for cruising around the trails (I’m not trying to blast my music, I just want to be able to hear it clearly). I looked into buying “pod” style tube mounted Bluetooth speakers (like the wakeboard guys have) but they were ~$130 and I didn’t want to spend that much. I have not used this speaker in my side by side yet but I am fully confident it will suit my needs. This thing is super loud and it feels really well made. I’m looking forward to using it more. I have made one phone call on it and my wife said it sounded great/clear on her end. So far I’m super happy with this purchase and will likely buy another for a present. If you’re in the market for a Bluetooth speaker I think this is a great buy/value, highly recommended.Update: I used it today in my side by side, it was totally loud enough and I loved it. The only issue I had was that I think I overheated it. I had it on my dash in the sun (I’m in southern AZ) and it would stop playing. I would have to keep pushing play on my phone. That was after about 4 or 5 hours of riding. I moved it around to keep it out of the sun and it did better but it still cut out. After the sun went down I had no issues. When I got home I cranked it up in my shop (garage) and it did great. It sounds reeeeeeeeealy good, and I have a couple old school 5 ft Peavy stacks for my shop stereo. I’m going to give it a pass for having issues in the desert sun, that’s understandable. What was really surprising was how it good it sounds in my shop, the sound quality and volume it crazy good. I love this speaker. I still think I will buy another (or more) for gifting. I’m still tripping out on how good the sound quality and volume is.
