Q: Does anyone else have trouble with this filter causing water to come out slowly? The longer we hold down the button, the slower it comes out now...

Our water comes out really fast now that we are using this filter. I would try reinstalling it and pushing the reset button if you have one. Hopefully your water line didn't freeze.

Q: Has anyone tried this product that didn't purchase it at a discount in exchange for a review? Can you share your thoughts?

I put this in today, 1/25/2017, and it went in easily and works without any issues. Visually it is identical, aside from the label, to the official one by GE.

Hi, press and hold the reset water filter button on the dispenser for three seconds.
