I found a faded part number on my old motor which matched one of the many in the list for this motor.What the hell, less than $20 and I'll have it tomorrow?Let's try. It is an exact replacement, the price is right, it got here quick, and my beer is back at 40 degrees where it should be!

My fridge stopped cooling and the freezer would freeze and thaw the ice periodically. YouTube suggested this fix and I decided to give it a try. The fan was inexpensive send easy to install. It's only been 3 days since I installed it, but both the freezer and fridge are working again!

This part came up in my Amazon search to replace a Kenmore Freezer Evap Fan with a part # 216822500. It didn't fit for a number of reason. 1. the fan shaft was too long (see photo the OEM part is on the top). 2. The mounting holes for the screws didn't line up with the OEM (see photo the OEM part is on the top ) 3. It didn't come with a wiring harness. I could have figured out a way to make it work by making a harness, but without the mounting holes lining up, and the fan shaft being too long there was no way it would fit my Kenmore Freezer so I needed to return it.
