Update - I got a pineapple a few days after writing my original review! This makes it so easy!!! The blade goes through without much effort. My pineapple was pretty ripe and there were some edges that aren't smooth like cutting with a knife, but I'm not in it for fancy! Note that the blade does make thin rings. Definitely thinner than canned pineapple rings. Also, I think next pineapple, I'll cut the top and bottom off top make it easier to know when to stop twisting.Original review - Excited to get this pineapple corer/slicer. I see so many people using them so got this one. Pineapple is one of my faves and finding an easier way to core and cut is what I need. The handle and shaft of the corer feels sturdy. I've already washed it and it cleans up easily.Other reviews say it's easy to use. I haven't had a chance to put it to use yet cause the pineapples haven't looked good lately. Hoping to get some really soon though. I think I'll skip the drill bit part unless I've got a lot of pineapple to core and cut that day. :) I'll be back to update when I get some pineapple!

Wow! It works! It really, really works! Was so tired of paying for the cut up fruits. Or keeping the larger fruits on my counter to be cut up. Always a task when tackling such fruits as watermelon or pineapple. Well, one down. Easy to use and there are many videos out there to show you just how. Word of advice - put some kind of drip tray underneath. If your pineapple is really juicy, it will leak all over your counter with this when you pull it out. Put one of those rimmed baking sheets underneath. That way when you lift out the cored pineapple, any juice drips off in the pan. And also when you are cutting it, keeps the little chunks from falling all over your counter.

Excellent tool, we love fresh pineapple and this makes it so easy to cut it into serving size pieces.

Pretty much works as described. Do not set your drill to a high torque position. Medium torque is all that is needed. Cutting through soft pineapple does not require too much torque.

I can’t tell you enough how much I love this great little kitchen tool. I love to feed my children, fresh fruits and vegetables and with this it makes it so easy to give them fresh pineapple that they love. Thanks for a great product….. And my husband even enjoys, helping with it in the kitchen what more can I ask for?

This thing takes no time at all to slice and core a pineapple. Just have to make sure I find the center of any crooked pineapples or won't get all the fruit and maybe some skin. But that is understandable since fruit is not all perfect.

Sharp & cuts as shown. A lot more waste than cutting by hand. The tool the dice the rings is useless. Very dull & could not cut pineapple

The plastic on the drill attachment broke after a few uses. Happened in a split second. I would have been better off just buying a less expensive one from the dollar store or something.
