Pros: I consumed an entire container at the rate of 2 scoops/day. I think it helped with regularity of bowel movements.Cons: It contains an unknown amount of triphala. I wouldn't consume a triphala supplement without knowing how much triphala it contains, and I probably won't continue consuming this product, for the same reason.Here is an email exchange between me and Renew Life.Me: How much triphala (in grams) is in one scoop?Renew Life: "Our FiberSmart Powder is a proprietary blend, therefore, the individual amounts of the ingredients are not available."Me: Are the ingredients listed in order of descending amount by weight?Renew Life: "We cannot guarantee that because it is a proprietary blend."Me: You mean that you do not guarantee to comply with FDA regulations for dietary supplements? Must I list the ingredients in a specified order? Yes. You must list the ingredients in descending order of predominance by weight. This product was recommended to me by my natural doctor. I have very bad IBS-D. Not trying to share too much but I would be running to the bathroom about 10+ times in the morning. I'm also very sensitive to a lot of supplements including natural products. I started with a half scoop mixed with a half bottle of water before bed. After a few days I used a full scoop before bed. This has worked wonders for me. Occasionally I have a flare up but nothing that extreme. I didn't use this one night and I ran to the bathroom several times the next morning if you know what I mean. This product is gentle and definitely helps. I highly recommend it!As for the taste: it reminds me of a watery oatmeal flavor. It is not bad tasting though.As for the fiber amount: sometimes more is less. Take it before bed and you will be happy when you wake up.

Bought this as recommended by my acupuncturist. The taste is tolerable, but you have to make sure it's blended properly or it will form chunks or product in your beverage. It didn't have the overall desired effect I was hoping for, but I did see some improvement.

I've used this off and on for years and just find it to be a pleasant and easy-to-use product. It contains L-Glutamine, which is supposed to help heal the gut. My naturopath recently gave me an L-Glutamine product so I am guessing this is indeed a helpful ingredient. Years ago, the founder of Renew Life came and spoke at a local heath food store and I remember being impressed by her and her knowledge of intestinal health.As a side note, my naturopath told me that vitamin c is important for the adrenals so now I mix up FiberSmart with a vitamin c power (Healthforce Nutracuiticals, which I love) and an additional touch of stevia -- a nice way to start the day.

Let me first say that I've been using this product for a long time, It is for people that have sensitive digestive systemsand need more fiber in their diet without the usual gas and bloating and pain that goes along with fiber. I use it on a dailybasis in a protein shake and it helps to thicken up the shake as well as give you more bulk in your movements that is eliminatedgently. It is filling and satisfying at the same time.Your digestive tract is the key element of your body that keeps you feeling goodwhile it supplies good sustainable energy without feeling hyper or sluggish.

Having suffered from constipation my entire life, I first tried this in preparation for 2 weeks of overseas travel. After dinner or prior to bedtime, I mix half scoop of powder with water and juice (capsules for travel). I use it in conjunction with Ageless Hydro-C (half tsp stirred in water first thing in the morning). There is no gassy side effect or discomfort and regularity is clockwork. We older folks just need a little more help and this is a wonderful natural remedy.

I was very excited to start cleanse smart and I needed to purchase this product to go with it. I was expecting a lot more fiber per serving than 3 grams it provides for the price it costs. Renew Life is not cheap and I like their cleanses a lot but I am not thrilled with Fiber Smart. I have to add Chia seeds to eat to increase the fiber content. You will be better off buying some flax seeds and grinding it. It is cheaper too. I will not buy this product again.

I've tried many fiber supplements with disappointing results. This works for me, likely the best review I can give it. The flavor is mild. The value for the money is too personal to make meaningful.

This stuff is gross. The only way I can actually use it is to add it to baking, which we don’t do a lot of around here. If you want something you can stir into a drink or even hide in soft foods, this is NOT the right stuff to do it with.

I'm not a fan of the taste. It does desolve in water but you have stir longer. In hot tea it forms lumps.

Havent opened this product yet, has seal and everything just bits of the fibre supplement on the outside of packaging but looks like the exact product. Got to use a coupon so price was awesome.
