High Maintenance Knife
This is the first Asian style kitchen knife I have ever purchased, and it arrived razor sharp. The quality of craftsmanship is excellent, and I really appreciate the wooden sheath. I give it four stars because the "Stainless" Steel description is a bit of a misnomer. I consider this a high maintenance knife that requires immediate washing and thorough drying after each use, especially if you are cutting something acidic. My wife cut some lemon slices with it and didn't wash or dry it thoroughly enough afterwards, and rust spots appeared on the blade within a half hour (not exactly "stainless"). I buffed out the rust with some fine steel wool, and it appears to be holding up just fine. I still love the knife; it cuts far better than the Henckels knives we have been using. We learned quickly to be diligent in caring for this knife, and it has become our go-to knife for the majority of our food prep.

Razor sharp
The blade is thin and light, its razor sharp and easy to sharpen. One of my favourite knives.
