Excellent For Ham Radio! Great Linear Power Supply
Works great for my Ham radio setup! Am powering 3 rigs off it, all running at the same time. (100 watt FT-450d, 45 watt TYT UHF, and a 60 watt Icom IC-2300 VHF)It powers them great with no noise. The only down side is it uses a lot of power on standby (wastes around 45 watts) but I think this is to be expected for a linear (non-switching) powersupply.

It is quiet and runs cool although I haven't run it to 40 amps yet
The power supply appears to be made well. I have been using it for several weeks and no problems so far. It is quiet and runs cool although I haven't run it to 40 amps yet. It has no volt/amp meter. I checked its' output with my test meter and it was within tolerance. I plan to get a meter for it soon. I would buy from this vendor again.

Case Cover Very Poor Fit - Rattles When Unit Is Operating
Hmm, soon as I turned the unit on it stated to rattle. When I applied a slight pressure to the top of the case the rattle stopped. Poor fit. It can be seen the gap where the top of case meets the front panel varies in width. Right now I have a thin piece of plastic gently wedged in between the front panel and case cover. How long will this stop the rattle - who knows. The poor fit is a big disappointment. After I operate the supply for a few days will update this review if any issues are encountered or the rattle starts again.Considering the cost of this unit, I expected better. I have purchased a lot less expensive power supplies in the past and had a better build quality.Update 9/4:Have used the power supply extensively, works fine. If it had not of been for the case cover rattle I would have awarded 5 stars in the review. I did upgrade the initial 2 star review to 3 stars.

Week two of very light use and the output died
Set mine up to run an actuator drawing about 18 amps.Week two of very light use the power output died. The fuse did not blow, and the lighted power switch still comes on. Opened it and and found no stressed components and no internal fuse. I returned it for replacement hoping for the best from another unit.
