Worth it.
How can something so seemingly small make such a Hugh difference? For the price of these they are totally worth it, as they are also quite durable. It is so nice being able to identify a zipper and open it so smoothly with a single finger. I recently bought a Nike Elite bag from my sister in law, basically brand new, the only catch is that the zipper pulls were missing and the zippers themselves were quite small and always a small ordeal to find them and then opening while pinching the tiny zipper. These alleviated that small issue in a bigger way than I could imagine.

Large Pulls
These are great zipper pulls for a bag or sling. Large enough for a gloved finger. The cords are bigger, so you will need a larger zipper to use them. If that’s a problem, order the smaller size.

Large and beefy zipper pulls. Great for heavy duty use
Well built and strong zipper pulls. Probably best used for zippers on large duffel, tents, backpacks, etc. A bit on the large side for clothing, jackets, sleeping bags, and the like. Maybe for a winter coat you're going to be using gloved hands to open and close. Highly recommended for rugged, outdoor use. Use the next sized down for smaller applications.

Great upgrade from paracord
Beautiful and functional upgrade for my bags and backpacks. They look REALLY nice compared to the usual knotted paracord. A bit pricey, but a $100-$250 bag or pack deserves to look it’s best, right? They don’t offer any physical leverage advantage over paracord, but they feel really nice in operation. They do stay put and are easy to locate versus paracord that can lay down or fall into a crease causing a momentary search. Also, paracord often rotates causing the knot to sit ON/AT the zipper slide instead of remaining consistently at the end the where you’re expecting it to be when you grab hold. Others have complained that the cord should be longer. I disagree. The tight squeeze passing the molded-pull thru the cord loop prevents ever losing the unit should it ever go slack and attempt to thread itself off the zipper slide. Perfect length to prevent loss. I’m actually impressed with the forethought and manufacturing length consistency/tolerance held here to provide this feature. This “large” size only works on the largest/chunkiest zippers (YKK #10?). The cord is larger diameter than the “small” size. It will not pass thru smaller zipper slides for installation. If in doubt, start by ordering the “small” before chancing it with the “large”. Time will tell how durable and abrasion resistant these will be.

Maxpedition Large Zipper Pulls are a well-designed study product. The Large size is strictly for large and huge zippers.
Would get a rating of 5 Stars if the cordage was .25” longer.Maxpedition Large Zipper Pulls (6 Pack), Black are a well-designed study product. The Large size is strictly for large and huge zipper pulls. The cordage is a little thicker then the Small version which makes it difficult to get through a standard zipper pull. They need to make the cordage 3 mm to a 1/4" longer to make it easier to slide the Large soft plastic pull through the lanyard. It's a very snug fit and a bit difficult to get through. If you're considering these I would suggest getting the Small size first. It's about time a company has spent the money and designed a great zipper pull. For smaller companies it's harder to manufacture these because you need to manufacture and purchase them in bulk. I think this design will be very successful. I'm also glad they come in different colors.

Solid construction
So far so good. I put them on my winter parka and my hockey bag. Much easier to zip up when wearing gloves. Super nice on the hockey bag and you don't have to fumble around trying to grab the zipper.

Work well
Bought these to replace the zipper pulls on some back packs and bags. Easy to install, and provide a positive means to get hold of and open/close zippers. Purchased 3 colors (black, gray, tan) to have contrasting colors that stand out (easy to see/locate) on various color packs/bags.
