I've had a couple minor drops with no damage, but you never know how much is the case, though the slightly raised edges do protect the glass.Well this time I had a spectacular fail where the S3 went flying, tumbling along the long axis, and landed right on the corner, which is the worst place you could land.The corner of the case split along the seam and the edge of the case fractured at the divot near the volume buttons. That may sound like a complaint, but it's not - that was exactly what it was supposed to do. The case took all the force and the tablet is completely unharmed. I'm getting another one.Update Aug 2019: The tablet took a nasty tumble onto some rocks yesterday. Case is missing a piece and has some gouges, the tablet is again unharmed - not even a scratch or scuff. Ordering my third case.Also: I take my tablet everywhere, one bad spill a year isn't too clumsy. Right? Right?

I had this cover on for a while, and I purchased another tablet with another cover at the same time. The tablet that had THIS cover on had unexplained battery loss in all modes, except in maximum power saver mode (which disabled many apps, as well). The other tables saw no power losses.This went on for a year or so, we had to keep the tablet (with this cover) plugged in overnight or it would drain 100-0 and shut down, while the other tablet was fine for days.Finally, one day I did not close the flap. The tablet did not lose power. So I tested -- flap on, flap off. Voila! Power loss was due to this cover.I've taken the cover off completely, since then, but at the minimum the cover flap was the issue.Mechanically, the cover performs well, and it held the tablet up as expected, so two stars instead of one.

I have ordered three of these. That being said, I only own two tablets.The case protects the tablet but does not last well. The plastic began breaking fairly quickly after purchasing for the first two.The first case broke but is still usable about 1.5 years. The second case took six months before three out of four corners broke. I expect the third one will last somewhere between the two. This is from normal use, the tablets haven't been dropped or anything similar. They broke simply from being picked up and handled.If you want something sturdier shop around. If you want something cheap yet effective get one of these.

Nice fit for the money. Does its job. Material is filmsy, but if you are careful, there should be no issues. Not designed for repeated removal (I feel the corners may break). The magnet is good enough to provide two viewing angles for a stand. I wish the cover would fold inside so that when we stand it, it is the "outside" of the cover that would touch the surface. Right now the design is such that the inside of the cover (that rests on the glass) touches the surface. This way, if the surface is bad, this may affect the inside of the flap cover and thus possibly your glass.

This case is a great design and solid durability. I've had this same case by Moko but for other tablets and it doesn't disappoint. Quality is top notch and solid durability/performance. Only knock on it is there is no place to hold the S-Pen. If you need that, take a look at the Fintie case. Similar quality but a pen holder to boot. Feel of this case is a bit smoother but quality seems to be about the same

The case seems good but the corners break that hold the tablet in place. You try to use the "lifetime warranty" and they just stall and will not honor it. I have tried to get mine replaced but they want pictures first, I sent pictures but no response since.I have another tablet TAB-A that the corners broke and they also responded the same way.Will buy competitor case and forget JEDirect!!

This case is made of terribly cheap plastic. I have had my tablet in the case for not quite 2 months and use it quite a bit. The plastic is chipping and breaking apart. I have never dropped or mishandled the case in any way. It is simply cheap and not at all durable. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone looking for a good, quality case.

Snug fit, wake/sleep works, very light. I'm not a big stylus user so I purposefully bought a case without a holder, however the magnets on the right side that close the cover are strong enough to hold the stylus' clip, so you can stick the stylus there when holding tablet in portrait mode.
