Are the labels waterproof or vinyl too?

They are a shiny stick-on vinyl label. I have place wet bottle on top and no water penetrates it.

Are they funny word play based on real records?

They have some real song names. They are a conversation piece but glasses if they sweat it gets real messy. I have found really can not use them. I am going to buy some new ones. I will keep as a conversation piece and we have a very music oriented house.

If there is no choice in picking the labels on the coasters, what exactly do the ones say in this set? Can't make it out...

The vinyls are labeled: swan lake, por una cabeza, go home -Kenny G, retro sound, don't cry and concerto aconcazua
