2022 Rotatable and Retractable Car Phone Holder - Rear View Mirror Phone Holder, 360-degree Rotation Adjustment, Easy to Install and Remove, for All Mobile Phones and All Car

I do videos when I drive. I had one on my windshield which was fabulous for over 6 years. The phone did jiggle here and there but the video came out AOK.

The claws for the holder are not long enough to hold my phone, which has a battery charger case imbeded in it. This makes the phone about 1/8"-1/4" thicker. If the claws were 1/4" longer and the ends of the claws had longer tips to hold the phone, I would be able to use it. In order for me to use it, I would have to remove the phone from the battery charger case, which would be inconvenient.

Unfortunately won't fit my Jeep Renegade with the sensor package on the window behind the mirror. I also discovered that the center bottom bracket would have interfered with the controls on the bottom center of the mirror. Still think it's a solid product for compatible vehicles though.

Works great, and does exactly as advertised. The only flaw... my mirror is close to the window on my model car. As such it barely fits and is difficult to adjust. But it is on there and holds my phone perfectly steady. And it's holding up against the hot Nevada summers. All in all, worth the purchase.

Initially, I loved this phone holder! Being able to swivel and pivot My phone to pretty much any direction I wanted was great! But after about a week, the plastic clamp holding it onto the rearview mirror slowly begin to bend. When I would go around a corner, or stop it would abruptly slide off of the mirror and either crashed to the floor or onto the gear shift and console scaring the crap out of me! I thought perhaps the first one I had purchased was defective. After it started falling off, I could see the very subtle bend in one of the arms at the top of the clamp which was causing it to lose its grip, and thought I just missed that when I first got it. So I ordered another one. I inspected the second one closer right out of the packaging. No bends! So I thought this would be great. And it was great for about a week. Then it started to slide loose. I was already watching for it so I could grab it before it fell. Upon inspection, not just one, but both arms on the top clamp had started to bend. So very frustrating. I don't know if this is a defect in the plastic and would happen anyway, or if it's because I live in New Mexico and it was the middle of summer, and the inside of my car gets very hot. I have a car shade, but left the phone holder clamped onto my rear view mirror all the time, so maybe it got really hot which caused the plastic to soften and bend. I also have a very deep and slightly triangular shaped rear view mirror. So perhaps it just didn't work with that type of rear view mirror. Regardless, it's very disappointing.

Remove the phone holder attachment and your Garmin will snap on to the balk perfectly. Now no more coming out to my car finding my Garmin on the floor because the suction wind screen cup gave way. Also holds it up closer to the top of my wind screen so my eyes stay more attentive to the road ad I view it. And for those of you that use your phone for GPS, ect... it works perfectly!

I've tried a few different phone holders (Vent/Suction cup/Cup holder) and none worked for me. I like the idea of this product in the middle of the windshield and not obstructing any views and the option of a pendulum arm to move it from left to right while its attached to the mirror, BUT the one issue I had was if you have a heavy phone or even a phone with a case that's heavy, it causes the phone holder to shake because its attached to the rearview mirror, so then it causes the mirror to shake and bounce around while driving. At night or early morning all you would see is bouncing headlights in your rear view mirror. In the daytime, it's just as distracting to drive as every bump or uneven road makes the rearview mirror shake. Maybe if you have a light phone/small size phone, maybe it wouldn't shake/bounce as much but from my experience, I don't think it would work for my liking.

I absolutely love this phone holder!! I live in a very HOT & HUMID climate and every suction cup dash mounted phone holder will fly off the dash, with my phone, as soon as the weather gets hot. I checked out all the features before I installed it. Easy installation, tweeked the position of my phone and it's stayed in place. It's so much easier to see next to my rear view mirror instead of on the dash. Furthermore, there are no more projectiles flying at me when I drive.
