I bought this to try to cover the grey hair that frame my face and sides. My hair pulls red anytime I try to color at home and I didn't want to spend $150+ dollars for a salon job. The color was nearly an exact match and I used it heavily on the grey and ran some through the length as well. My grey is gone for now. It may not last, but for my upcoming vacation it'll work!

I used the Clairol permanent touch-ip root color for decades. It's now transition time. I had the white "skunk" line and circle on the top of my head while trying to be patient. Couldn't do it so I originally used the Natural Instincts all-over color a month ago. Natural Instincts demi-permanent color is a gentle option. Evidence is less hair fall-out. Chose the same color as the permanent color. Color slowly faded over 3-4 weeks for me, acceptable light brown colored white hair with natural transition, no demarcation... i am 75% white. I serendipitously discovered this NI Root Touch-Up This is now all I need...The included tube of hair conditioner is a star. Quantity lasts weeks so hair is shiny and soft. Plan is to stop coloring after cutting dark colored hair...a year, maybe? Thank you, Clairol for options for our seasons in life!

I got this because it’s ammonia free. Wanted to cover my grey roots and this seemed like a good option. The color stayed for 2 weeks, which is great because it was meant to color only the roots. Will surely buy again!

Use for when I am on vacation and can't get to my regular hair salon.
