SamsungGalaxy S8+ LED View Wallet Case, Black - EF-NG955PBEGUS

Pros- Premium feel, neat customizable led front, holds an id and credit card just fine. Color is spot on with my silver S8+. Fit is perfect*. Front flap is powered by the phone! That's really cool! Case is a fabric type material, not plastic (with the exception of where the phone is placed into the case). Rear cutouts greatly help with finding the fingerprint sensor.Cons- I have a tgsp on my S8+ and the additional thickness throws the perfect fit. The front flap will not fully close with my tgsp. Swiping to answer a call or silence an alarm may be affected by this as it takes a bit of effort and a few tries to do those tasks. Perhaps this case works best if you are going commando on your screen :)Protection of the phone is minimal - there's like 1mm of plastic protecting the corners, so anyone that always seems to be dropping their phone shouldn't look to this case for protection. It reminds me of the super minimal thin clear protective case that Samsung makes. I actually think that case is just glued onto this one.Also, if you like to open the flap and tuck it behind the phone (which seems like the logical thing to do) the camera and fingerprint scanner are inaccessible. What's not immediately obvious about that statement is that you can't press your finger on the sensor and then open the flap to find your device unlocked. It seems like when the front flap is closed all functions including the physical buttons (power, volume, etc) are disabled. So unless you want to stare just right at the iris scanner (and look weird doing so) or put in your password, you have to fumble with the phone while the front flap is open and maneuver your finger to the scanner to unlock your phone. I actually prefer the finger print method of unlocking, so this my not be as big a deal for someone else.Also, double tapping power to start the camera no longer works with this case while the flap is closed. Again, you have to fumble with the flap open to start the camera (by starting the camera after unlocking, or pressing power twice quickly), and then make sure the flap doesn't cover up the camera when you are trying to take a picture.Classic case of form over function. I still like the case, and I hope to figure out some tricks to get past the camera and unlocking issues over time.Other- I will be holding on to my S8+ until Samsung moves the finger print scanner back to the front and adds 600 MHz support and maybe 5G. That may be until the Note 9 or S10 if rumors are to be believed about the finger print scanner. This case will be the one I will use until it's time to upgrade again.

I owned the LED View Wallet Case for my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and loved it, so I didn't even look at other cases for my new S8+ before purchasing this case. I'm extremely cautious about scratching my screen because I use Samsung's Gear VR very often; scratches ruin the experience. Yes, I use a plastic screen protector, but I would never have a case that leaves the screen (protected or not) uncovered, only to brush up against whatever else is in my pockets or purse. This flip case is the natural answer to that issue... But it's not just a simple folding case-- the LED feature is great.Every time you close your phone cover, your phone will lock (you can adjust this in its settings if you like) and the time will appear briefly on the LED display. When you charge your phone, closing the phone cover shows a battery icon, then the percentage charged, then the time. My favorite feature, though, is the LED display's options for caller ID. You can go into the settings and choose an icon for each of your contacts that will be shown on the LED display when a contact calls. I have a little man with a hat for my dad, a lady for my mom, a house for our home phone, a coffee cup for my best friend who loves coffee, etc. It's cute. You can even make your own icons in the editor if you like. Callers without icons or unknown numbers flash numbers across the LED display. Finally, you can also dismiss calls without opening the case by swiping across the LED display-- very handy.I dropped my old S7 Edge case from my pocket to the ground, and there was no damage; the materials of this case seem to be the same, but we're not talking about a big plastic brick case that can be chucked like a grenade without a scratch on the phone. Be careful. If you're worried about the price, keep in mind all of the features I mentioned. If you're not interested in any of those things, get a plain folding case. I'm very happy with this official Samsung case.

Samsung has released the Galaxy S8 Plus, and with that, they have released their new Samsung cases for these new phones. Below is a review of the LED View Case, and the S-View Flip Cover CaseThe LED View Case - This Samsung case is the perfect fit for my Galaxy S8+ The case offers full protection for the front and back of my phone, so I do not have to worry about my screen getting scratched. I have the same case for my old S7 Edge, and with no screen shield, I never got a single scratch on the screen! I have dropped my old phone a couple of times (admittedly on carpet) and as the phone is falling, the case closes over the screen, and the phone either lands face down protected, or on it's back protected!The S-View Flip Cover Case - With the S-View Flip Cover Case, I would HIGHLY recommend a screen protector, as the screen cover's hard plastic shell curving on the edge case moves around in your pocket, rubbing against the screen, which caused several scratches.I am hoping that Samsung releases their Smart View cases with the clear plastic window for the S8 Plus eventually, because with the clear window on the front of the case, you could still take pictures with the front of the case flipped behind the phone. Attached is a picture of the case that I would really like Samsung to remake for the S8 Plus.

Muy linda funda le da protección si te metes el celular a la bolsa del pantalón, aparte que puedes hacer tus propios iconos de notificación, puedes contestar sin abrir la funda, usa tecnología de carga inalámbrica el celular alimenta de energía inalámbrica a la funda ya que ella cuenta focos led propio, en cualquier lado esa funda cuesta 1500 pesos y por 525 que pague está casi que regalado y llego rápido a pesar que viene de los usa, gracias amazon!!!
