Maybe these are seconds?
I have been using this style cup for 20 years or so. I've never had any trouble - they're great. I 've replaced them only because my son chewed on the straw or we lost them. These 2 bottles don't work. The mouthpiece of the straw came out of one and even though it snapped back in, there is not enough suction to get any liquid out. The other cup also gets no suction and nothing happened to it. Very frustrating!! I'm wondering if these are fakes or ones that didn't meet the quality control for rubbermaid! I'm going to order from a different vendor and see what happens!

Leaks
One leaks, one doesn’t. I haven’t figured out the trick so just don’t use them. It’s not worth the lunchbox mess!

Just as good as they were when I was a kid
My mom used to put these in our lunchboxes and they were the best. I bought them for the same reason and they are just as good as they have always been 👍🏻

Bad design
These are horrible. The folding part falls out easily which exposes the rubber washer that makes them leak proof. My daughter (age 8) only used them twice before both washers were missing and we had to toss them.

Was excited to find these again as my son lost his last year at school and we loved them. I recieved a 2 pack and one works great and the other one leaks out the little hole on the back of the white spiggot. Water squirts out in a steady stream if any pressure at all is put on the box (like holding it). I made sure it wasn't filled above the fill line and everything was assembled correctly. They look identical so I dont know why one leaks and one doesn't, but it was a bit of a dissapointment. Maybe this is why they dont make them anymore?

My favorite part about school lunch
Totally better than sending juice boxes every day. I fill this with water and my kid is excited to have his own drink with a straw, I'm not having him throw something away (environmentally friendly) and he is not getting pumped full of sugar. It is a win in my book!

They leak!
I got these for my kids for their school lunches so they weren't taking expensive horizon milk boxes and these ended up leaking! I'm sure if you used them for water it won't be a big deal if a little leaks
