Great Value, Great Features
The product came as scheduled and the delivery team did an excellent job at installing and setting up the TV making sure all was functional before leaving. The TV's operating system is "Tizen", not android like some smart TVs. You therefore do not have access to apps such as Kodi, Terrarium and Modbro. A quick work around is to use a Fire TV and plug that into one of the three HDMI slots available. Don't worry about redundancy. You can load only those apps you chose onto Samsung's home screen making the whole process seamless. I would advise loading Firefox onto the Fire TV. It is an available app now so no side-loading is necessary. This can replace the somewhat useless browser that Samsung offers. The inputs are somewhat generous with three HDMI ports. I use one for the Fire TV, one for the DVD player and one for my computer. This TV replaces an old Philips Plasma 55'. At 1080 and using HDMI I still could not read the printing on that TV. With this Samsung, the display is crystal clear and I can easily read all print from my computer. My cable box is NOT hooked up. This is for a couple of reasons. First, Comcast offered basic channels as a package deal with internet. It would cost me more for internet alone than it would cost for the addition of channels. I hooked up the cable box briefly but since I've "cut the cable" many years ago, I was NOT willing to sit through the ridiculous amount of commercials every five minutes. Infinity has a free (now) app that will play live TV without going through cable. Also, most networks have apps. You just need to sign in with your Infinity account. I still will not watch network programs due to the commercials. That is what commercial free Hulu, Netflix and Amazon are for. Also, (yea, I can do paragraphs) there are a couple of USB ports. A dongle for keyboard and mouse or a USB drive are options. I appreciate the built in wireless network adapter since my router is on another wall but, if you prefer flashing lights an clutter, there is also an network port. There are a couple mini rca connectors which can be used for VCRs (don't do it). If the 4K police come in and find that you have connected an old 480i piece of equipment to your fancy new TV, it may not go well for you. Another connection I appreciate to the Digital/Optical Out. I used to hook all my equipment through HDMI cables to my Home Theater receiver and one HDMI from the AV receiver to the "not so smart" TV. Now, I avoid all the clutter and replace it all with one wire going to my amplifier. Finally, for those fortunate enough to get over the air reception, there is a connection for an antenna. The remote is fantastic. It looks similar to a Firestick remote. It has NO NUMBERS! How many of us have these ridiculous remotes with numbers and functions all over them with ware marks on only a couple of buttons that we use? This is slick and has a built in mike. It is also universal. When you plug in the HDMI cable the TV knows what equipment it is dealing with and automatically sets up the remote for that device. This is a very inexpensive TV. I do not know how they can sell it so cheaply. My last TV cost $2000.00 twelve years ago. It weighed a couple of hundred pounds, had a quarter the resolution and could heat up a room. This picture knocks my socks off. It has a lot of features and I can easily lift it off its stand and dust. Yea, there are improvements coming out all the time but I chose to stay impressed with this one and save a bunch in the process.

SEXYSHMEXY! (TV automatically died one month after end of warranty)
(2023)Well after five years and a month the TV 'warranty died', I actually saw itself turn off, then on, then off, then on. I saw this coming a couple of months ago when I would turn it off, then the screen would flash and turn off.THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT: it doesn't automatically switch audio formats. When playing certain movies you have to MANUALLY go into to TV's expert sound settings (which is 3 menus levels) to change to Dolby Digital+ or DTS Neo 2.5. This TV WILL NOT do it automatically, and of you stop listening to surround content the TV will set the audio format to the lowest one: PCM. So I was prepared to buy a new TV, the glitching aside. I will now have to make certain the new TV has ALL of the apps that I used. Plus getting rid of this old is becoming a pain.(2018)Nice. Nice. Nice. Sharp clean picture, I honestly can't see the difference between 4K, 2K, and 1080p - but it all looks SEXYSHMEXY!3 HDMI ports (Now I can play my Dreamcast and PS2), Composite inputs (So I can play my Wii), and crap load of apps. Even Goggle Movies/TV. But it doesn't have a few apps, I wanted, like Slacker or OperaTV (Vewd). Not a huge fan of TV UI, but this is my third Samsung experience (I have two other Samsungs: a 41"; and another 50"; - but neither has 4KUHD, so I bought this).Takes awhile to get used the OneRemote - I thought I would hate it, but I actually like it. Not using Voice, though. And I'm glad that this TV will use the older Samsung remotes, which I use because of the dedicated buttons - but quick access to features with OneRemote is nice, it just takes a minute to learn. It automatically connects to any device that's plugged in, it will try to find it and sync with it (remote wise). My Funai XV427FX4(A) looks nice and even sends a DTS audio signal to my Yamaha YAS-107BL Sound Bar.So far this TV has played very nice with my 2001-2016 setup. The Wii looked better on my 32" Philips 720/1080p HD TV. On a 50" 1080p, it looked OK, but on this it looks exactly what you 'de expect...480i input, up-scaled to 1080p...a little blurry and slight fuzziness. But that IS because I'm using Composite. Once I get the Wii HDMI converter cable, the image will improve. This TV is great, I just hope it doesn't die after the warranty does. (x= Fingers crossed)

Great TV for the price, just needs more HDMI ports
After a few months of using the TV, our family loves it. Great picture, excellent sound, all around great entertainment system. The only problem is there are only 3 HDMI ports, not nearly enough for all the devices we need to connect to it. We'd need almost twice that.

shipping is super fast, I booked last Sunday
Firstly, shipping is super fast, I booked last Sunday, it was shipped out this Monday morning, Tuesday noon was delivered to my home.Secondly, seller is super nice caring customer, they put a water resistant sticker on top of package advising their free telephone number if any package broken was found when it was rcvd.TV color, recognition and sound are amazing, with many smart APP to install.TV remoter is quite thin and fashional looking with simple buttons. It is a worthy deal, can recommend strongly to others to buy later.
