APC Back-UPS 450VA BE450G Compatible Replacement Battery by UPSBatteryCenter®

I bought one of these replacement batteries for the APC BE450G in December 2021 and it lasted exactly 1 week beyond the warranty period.

UPDATE March 2020 - estimated battery life 3-5 years, but lasted only a year and a couple of days. Worked just long enough to outlast the 1 year warranty.I always buy APC back ups, but could not find an APC brand replacement battery this time at a reasonable cost. The one I did find was of questionable age and the seller was not willing to open the package to give me an accurate answer.THIS brand fit the bill. It arrived much sooner than expected, and replacement took about 5 minutes. It took longer to get the original out than it did to get this one in. There's very little room in the case to accommodate old arthritic fingers. Whippersnappers will probably complete replacement in a minute or so.

This battery is well designed to comply with APC systems, I have had experiences from other manufacturers, but their specs where clearly not as accurate as they would be difficult to place into the UPS unit. Other brands seemed to large and difficult to install.This product fit it just as well as the original, has performed well, and I am most happy for the price value compared to its competitors...that don't quite fit right.

Everything worked fine.

It fit the UPS, I did not investigate close enough to see this battery had different size attachment pins. Luckily my wire leads accepted the smaller pin. To future buyers, this item has two different size pins defined by F1 and F2. Not sure which is the larger.

Original APC UPS battery had F2 terminals on both terminals. Replacement had F1 terminal on negative. Works okay but not direct replacement. This was a common feature on all replacement batteries however, not unique to this replacement battery. Delivery time was excellent from this supplier.

It fits perfectly. Charged the battery for about 2 hours to reach 100% (as shown on PowerChute Personal Eddition application -> Current Status). A good economical replacement for APC RBC#114 cartridge. For comparison: the original Schneider Electric replacement cartridge is very expensive $44.99.

at first the battery did not work, but after suggestions from the seller, it worked.

The price was competitive if you include the shipping charges of other choices. It fit as expected and has performed as expected. I just wish there was a better alternative to lead acid batteries for this application.I suspect that a bit more investigation on my part might have found a local source with a slightly cheaper choice but then one has to wonder what one's time is worth to go pick it up.

I ordered two of these to replace failed batteries. They came promptly, and fit nicely into the UPSs. As near as I can tell, they were mostly charged as well. The price was reasonable and it is good to now have my UPSs back in operation.Updated: A third UPS needed the battery changed, and once again the battery shipped and delivered promptly, was already charged, and the UPS put back into operation quickly.

Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is because it is too new too rate some aspects. Fit the APC unit just like the original and the unit is once again working as it should. What I cannot comment on is how long the new one will last.

I purchased this to replace the failed battery in an 8 year old APC. Easy install, works like new again. What else can you say?

This was great find for my older UPS. Fit like a glove and is working. It was impossible to find a 12 volt battery with these dimensions. Thanks for having them online and partnering up with Amazon.
