Worth the cost
Very nice, comfortable, easy to use. This was a back saver on our last camping trip. It was below freezing outside and this worked as advertised to insulate me from the ground. Lightweight.

It is light and really good quality.
I'm waiting to take this mat on my next biking trip. But so far I like how cushion-y it is, really good quality and light. I should've ordered the larger size, but it isn't too big of a problem for me. When you first unpack your mat, you have to leave it raise for 24 hours before putting it away, it comes with a couple of patches in case it punctures. Very pleased with it.

A must for stomach sleepers
It only took me 10.8 billion years to find a proper, warm backpacking pad that is a sweet spot between a minimalist ccf pad (which feels like sleeping on the ground with moderate insulation) and 3.5” $200 air pads (which feel like a bounce house). I sleep on my stomach and have learned that air pads are NOT for me (sleeping on my stomach on an air pad slopes my spine uncomfortably upwards towards my head or can feel like an elevated brick). Self-inflating pads are the perfect solution: foam mattress feel & low enough to the ground to feel extremely stable. It would be nice if it could pack just a tad smaller but then it wouldn’t be a proper comfortable SI pad so it’s a worthy tradeoff. Fun fact, SI pads self inflate by their compressed internal foam expanding, hence sucking air in. Do not use a pump on SI pads! be patient or give it a few manual blows, it doesn’t take much. I’m happy with the weight of the item as well, much more backpack worthy than my other SI pad which weighs a full pound more and is more car camping oriented. I still intend to use my ccf pads on longer backpacks where weight is more critical, but very happy with this product for shorter outings / cold conditions / when I want to prioritize comfort in the backcountry. I strongly recommend stomach sleepers to try SI pads, this one is a winner!

Great deal, good performance
Great sleeping mat. Rolls up tight, inflates and insulates well. Solid deal. Just wish it came in a darker green for work reasons.

Good for back sleepers
Very warm if you sleep on your back, I did notice when I rolled to my side I was getting cold , this was in about 30F weather.

Lightweight and comfortable
My boyfriend and I bought these for a week long camping trip starting in Connecticut and ending in Schodic Woods (part of Acadia National Park). They were very easy to inflate and deflate as we went from campsite to campsite and were a good barrier between us and the ground. We were camping in a tent and had a location with a gravel driveway to set up on and this made all the difference.

Be gone hip pain
I've gone through 2 of the REI branded side-rail sleeping pads for overnight backpacking trips and BOTH have broken on me (one was a gift so really it was a fool me once situation). I've also always struggled with hip pain in the night with the various sleeping pads i've used whether they were for car camping or backpacking and I must say this is the only one I haven't had to deal with that with. Listen, you're still very much sleeping on the ground but this pad stays inflated all night and provides the right amount of cushion to allow for a full nights sleep and not a night spent waking up every half hour. Definitely recommend for the price!

ages to inflate
overall a good mat, comfy, warm and after few camping trips still holds on. But thing I really dislike is that it takes very long time to inflate, even when left for 30 min in a tent still flat. I had to do at least 3 full breaths to make it full. when I unpack it at home, only next day it seems to be full. I always stored it according to instructions. my cheaper berghaus mat inflates in seconds BTW.

Good quality for the price
Perfect balance between cost and weight. Sea to Summit brand provides a level of quality assurance, and end of season discount made it a no brainer.
