Dr Scholl's Odor-X Ultracool Insoles, Mens Size 8-13

I think these are great! They feel really good to stand on, I replaced the deteriorating standard insole in some dress shoes, now my calves do not ache after wearing those shoes all day. I originally bought Dr. Schooll's Odor-X for some boat shoes to wear without socks. The honeycomb holes let in fresh air with each step (I can definitely feel the airflow). I even got a pair for some winter warm boots for the cushion and airflow. Two downsides I can think of: one, if your shoes are smaller than size 13, you may have to cut the insoles, which I did not have to do (they fit perfect as in in each of my shoes so far); two, they are bright blue and now my closet looks like a blueberry patch, but that doesnt bother me. I would say there is minimal arch support, but no smells from my feet, or chemical smells from the insoles!

These were added to my golf shoes because I like to walk most courses we play. They worked out perfectly. Added cushion, reduced sweating and other than making my shoe a bit tighter fitting, they performed perfectly. A note though. I typically buy my shoes at least a half or full size larger than my foot so I can where heavy socks. These insoles could make some shoes uncomfortably tight if the shoes aren't large enough to place them in. For me though, they worked great.

I purchased these to help keep my feet dry while wearing waterproof work boots for 8-12 hours at a time. I had started to develop skin problems due to my feet basically sitting in pools of sweat most of the day.When combined with lightweight wool socks they do a very good job. My feet stay very comfortable, I no longer have any skin problems, and my boots stink less.That said, these products are consumable. After approximately 3 months my boots started to stink again. I replaced insoles and it was obvious that the old ones had compressed down over time.

So far so good. These seem more for work or hiking boots and shoes. They are thick in the heel, so these will probably not be too comfortable for casual shoes or any shoe with low backing at the heel. I, however, got these for my work shoes. These are nice and squishy and make a huge difference if you are on your feet all day long. Not sure how long they will last as it is a flimsy film attached to a squishy foam platform. I'll update as the wear out. So far so good.

They have to be cut to size and shape of your shoe. It can be tricky to get it just right. I cut it on the line for a half size larger than my shoe, put it in and feel the toe area to see how much needs to be cut off and where it needs to be cut. If you get the fit right, these should be comfortable on your feet and get more life out your shoes. It's much better than spending $90 or more and having to break in new shoes.

These insoles are entirely too thick. The bottoms of my feet were definitely comfortable because the insoles are very plush (I guess that's the right word), but my big toe went numb from being pressed up against the top of the shoe. I have slim feet, so I imagine these insole would make it basically impossible for someone with thicker feet to even get into their shoes.I would not recommend this unless maybe you're putting them in a pair of shoes that are already way too big for you.

As a nurse I was burning through packs of odor eater inserts and they were dying my socks black! 😡 I bought these ultra cool ones and I am so happy I did! They last much longer- at least a month of doing 3-12 hour shifts. I do take them out after my shift to fully air dry but by far the best odor inserts yet!! They are thicker than the plain original but I liked the extra padding on my heels. I also wear a woman's 9.5 shoe so I just cut these to fit. Definitely worth every penny!!!!!

Worked well for a week or so but now they just smell horrible. I feel like these should last more then a week but if I wanted to keep up with them, I would need to get a new one about every week or so. Soft feeling on my feet but does not "eat odor"
