This is working out really well. Gives off lots of light in two directions.

Excellent motion light. Went back and bought another.

NOT SATISFIED WITH THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE. LIGHTS ARE BRIGHT BUT THE MOTION SENSOR NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED IF USED AT GOUND LEVEL. IT SHOULD COME ON FROM A FURTHER DISTANCE THAN WITHIN 10 FEET. IT WON'T COME ON IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER LIGHTS NEAR BY. IT NEEDS TO BE RESET EACH NIGHT, ESPECIALLY AFTER COLD OR BAD WEATHER. I STILL NEED MORE LIGHTING. I'LL LOOK AT OTHER SIMILAR LIGHTS FROM THEM AS WELL AS THEIR COMPETITORS.

I love these! However straight from box within 10 minutes the right sided light went out & never worked after! Very dissapointed. I would have returned it, only I needed its light from the left side at the least, as guests were here for 2weeks and I didnt want them possibly falling come night fall, as it's a very dark area that truly needed some light sorce. So I've been stuck with it only half working & recieving half of what I paid for. And their rather exspensive... I'm guessing either it is defective, or perhaps was handled or stored poorly /roughly in transit. UPDATE I WOULD NOW LIKE TO LEAVE (SINCE A LITTLE TIME HAS PASSED) SINCE POSTING MY TRUE REVIEW)THAT IM MORE SO DISSAPOINTED NOW KNOWING SELLER HAS HAD AMPLE TIME SINCE SEEING MY REVIEW AND DID NOT CONCERN THEMSELVES WITH THEIR CUSTOMER RECIEVING THEIR PRODUCTTHAT DID NOT WORK AFTER PAYING FOR IT DUE TO NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN.THEY AT LEAST COULD HAVE REPLIED TO OFFER A REPLACEMENT (FOR RETURN) OF THE BROKEN /FAULTY ITEM SOLD TO THEM AT BARE MINIMUM AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO THEIR CUSTOMER TO SHOW THEY EVEN CARE.I'VE HAD SOME SUPER CUSTOMER SUPPORT /SELLER EXPERIENCES WHO CARE ABOUT MAKING THINGS RIGHT & FAIR FOR THE CUSTOMERS WHOME CHOSE THEM TO BUY FROM & TRUST ...AND THEY HAVE BECAME MY GO TO FOR FUTURE NEEDS/GOODS. AS HARD AS MONEY IS EARNED THESE DAYS & NOT MANY HAVE AN ABUNDANCE OF IT ! ITS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME! AND ALWAYS SO VERY APPRECIATIVE OF THOSE WHOME TRULY CHOOSE TO DO GOOD FAIR BUSINESS!

I love how easy it was to install these around my home. They're solar recharged, battery-powered meaning no wiring is needed. I used this 2 light for the back of the house and I put 3 single units in other places where we have doors and windows.They do light up sometimes due to a rabbit or a coyote. The one by the side door also accidentally detects as motion the light inside the garage coming on if the door's window is a little dirty.A little Windex fixed that. 😉The plastic spikes broke on 2 of them as I tried to get them into the ground. I fixed that by getting a few 12" long pieces of 5/8" or ¾" steel pipe (I forget) at ACE, pushing it into the ground and then sliding what was left of the spike on the light fixture into it.PROBLEM SOLVED. 👍The lights turn on when motion is sensed & they stay on until about a minute after no motion is sensed.Don't worry about the solar panel needing to be in direct sunlight since the lights come on so rarely & just for a short period of time, so hardly any voltage gets used.Perhaps just lay them in direct sun for 6 or so hours to fully charge them before putting them in their permanent positions, which can even be in a shaded area all day long.

Worked on and off for couple nights & then needed to be "tweaked" (on/off button pressed) to work. Believe product to be an insult to the Bell & Howell name. Lights seem fairly bright but projection distance minimal, really making the item not useful for our needs. If it's not going to work 100% of the time, what good is it? It gets entire day of direct California desert sun so I don't want to hear from seller that it wasn't sufficiently charged.

I ordered another Bionic Spotlight to temporarily replace the dysfunctional Extreme 360 I used to illuminate my Car in my drive. The 360 is the only BH light that won't turn on reliably. But, the Single Bionic Spotlight works so well, I will use it a permanent solution.I also ordered one of these Bionic Duo Spotlight Solar Lights for the Front of my house.I placed it on the front gable about 9 feet high, just under my security camera for better illumination.It works splendidly! The Duo light activates as soon as I step off my porch. It and another two Bionic single lights activate if I exit my side door. I have them at several points on my driveway guiding my way at night.The red beacon on the Duo is very small, about the size of a BB. You don't notice it unless you look for it. The other single Bionics red led are about the size of quarter. You can see them from 50 feet away.
