Great for the Harbor Freight oApache 5800!
Great addition to the Harbor Freight version of the Pelican case they were made for. Fits in Apache 5800 case very well, not perfect but close enough to not even notice. Well worth the value if the padding the Apache 5800 is not working to your expectations(I don’t know would find it effective for anything with any weight at all.) This padding will fix those broken expectations. I put a $2000 Sony A7Riii, $2500 Sony GMaster 70-200 2.8f, and some Tamron lenses in the Apache case with the Pelican padding and have zero issue. Even dropping many times, no issues. Also great idea if you have 1 case you use for different sized items. The padding is easily pulled out and replaced with a different cut set of pads. Worth it, pull the trigger you won’t be disappointed.

Quality replacement foam
My Pelican 1510 original foam had seen better days and I was looking to reorganize things, so it was time for new foam. This product appears to be of the same quality as the original foam. Wasn't too expensive, and that was a surprise because normally anything connected to Pelican is expensive.

Works great
Works great in the Harbor Freight Apache 5800 case. I have purchased 3 times now for 3 cases. Purchasing this product and then getting the Apache 5800 case will save you tons of money from purchasing a pelican case

Be careful of seller’s
The item I received was NOT as what was advertised by seller. The manufacturer made a good product but the seller was more worried about making that sale rather than providing the right product

Replacement for the pick-and-pluck foam in a 1510 Pelican case
If you need to replace the foam in your Pelican 1510 case, this is the stuff. Pro tip: use toothpicks to mark the locations where you'll want to pluck out, and try playing with different layouts for your gear. You may find that some stuff fits in better if it's sideways. Beware of the “humps” below the main foam layer for the wheels—they effectively block “deep” items, so you'll want to just put surface items near those two corner edges.

Original quality? No.
The product was easy to get set up, just like the original foam I had in my pelican case. After a few months, the foam is conforming (in a rather negative way) to the equipment. It seems to be “lighter” than the original product. The top piece doesn’t stay on properly. I’m hoping to upgrade my case with the new system Pelican has come up with.

Take care when plucking
Some of the serrations were worse than others, so I'd recommend extreme care when plucking the foam.

It's foam
Yup, it's foam, it's squishy and it fits perfectly in the Pelican 1510 case.
